Cut Back

Tuesday, May 29, 2012

I cut way back on my spark streaks so as not to over post anymore. Too much tracking means not enough doing.

Ha ha, everything in moderation, even goal tracking. :-) emoticon

I can understand that. There have been times I'm so focused on getting sparkpoints that I'm sitting on the comp when I should be doing something else. It's addictive!

emoticon on getting other stuff done instead!

Over Posting

I like the SP page, and the chat forums are pretty hilarious. Yet if you do EVERY activity every day, and post in every forum, you have sat a long time barely twitching your fingers on a keyboard. That can be a barrier to going to the gym or bike trail that you have to watch out for.

Wonder twins powers activate…. Form of a better social life! Yea, I just went into a bad break up this week. I am trying to look my best, and learn to re socialize in new groups.

Am Back

Sunday, May 27, 2012

Okay, I am back after being gone a year from this page. I miss the step counter. I do it more when I am doing it online. The surgeon general wrote many books and did many studies on the value of the daily step counter. Ten thousand steps a day or more as a daily goal. I was in one of the studies in 2001, and still use one every day. Yet when I chart it online, I tend to bump it up just a little more to 12 thousand or so more times per week. So here goes, back on the chart wagon.

Next year I am only planting prickly pear and agave cactus in my porch flowerpot cooking garden. This year the global warming heat wave in Texas killed every other living thing.

So sorry about your plants - I do not have a green thumb - not even a green finger and almost everything I plant bites the dust eventually. I have even killed cactus, so far the only thing I haven't killed is the lucky bamboo that my boss gave me but it has only been six months so I am sure it will succumb eventually.
