I remember the first time I visited the palace of Versailles when young. Trivia today online: "What was the name of the body which is the predecessor of the United Nations?

Your answer: The League of Nations

The League of Nations was an inter-governmental organization founded as a result of the Treaty of Versailles in 19191920, and the precursor to the United Nations. At its greatest extent from 28 September 1934 to 23 February 1935, it had 58 members. "

Woot! Got my top fav answer in online trivia today! "Bela Lugosi starred in the classic 1931 film version of what vampire story?

Your answer: Dracula

Bela Lugosi became typecast as a horror actor in films such as "Dracula", "Murders in the Rue Morgue", "The Raven", "Son of Frankenstein" and "White Zombie". He died of a heart attack on August 16, 1956 and was buried in one of his Dracula stage play costumes."

I have had to cut back on the time I spend on workouts. The doctors found non cancerous tumors in my stomach area. After the surgery on the 14th, I should be able to start "real" workouts again. (After a bit of healing time.) However, for now, the pain is too bad and too dangerous to workout with. It seemed like I was starting to make progress! Oh well, I can work out again before too much muscle is lost. Also, I have still been able to do tiny workouts at the gym of 20 min three times per week.

Aww! I hope you start getting better soon! Focus on your eating since you can't do your workouts, and that may help. Be well!

I had heard this before: "Which is the largest of the Greek islands?

Your answer: Crete

At 3,219 square miles, Crete is only slightly smaller than either Cyprus or Puerto Rico. It is the largest of the Greek islands, and the fifth largest island in the Mediterranean. Crete was the home of the Minoans, Europe's first advanced civilization (2700-1400 BC)."

This would be a funny match. I need to write that book someday. "Literature loves a strong lady! Pick the choice that does NOT match the heroine up with her author.

Your answer: Scarlett O'Hara; author H.G. Wells

It was Margaret Mitchell who penned the exasperating and reluctant heroine Scarlett O'Hara in the 1936 novel "Gone With The Wind". She was later brought to life in the movies by actress Vivien Leigh. Elizabeth "Betsy" Taylor is the vampire heroine in MaryJanice Davidson's "Undead" series."
