This is my second Sparkpeople account. The first one I started on New Years of 2010. I vowed as my New Years resolution I would start the 10,000 step a day fitness plan. First I would track my steps every day. Second, I would get 10,000 steps a day, on average, every day for every week. Third, I would track it, every day on a sheet of paper as a fitness journal log. I would add it to my normal monthly journal I have kept since high school. I did it! I got the 10,000 a day every week, or more steps! Many weeks I broke more then 12,000 a day! (It takes two hours a day at the Planet Fitness gym on the fitness equipment to get ten thousand on my pedometer.) I made a New Years resolution, that required life changes, and I stuck to it. Every day, all year long, it really happened! I am happy for this realization that the year has passed, and I stayed going strong.
