  Hi!
I started changing the way I ate in January, but didn't join SP until about a month ago. My weight loss is slow because I tend to eat at the higher end of my calorie range by choice. I have a history of never wanting to be "hungry" and I'm changing my internal reaction to hunger by eating more often of the good kind of foods. emoticon

I eat right about 90% of the time and don't feel badly about the 10% - because that's life! Birthdays, special events and even just a scheduled indulgence are ok, because I get back to my plan and don't sweat it. My weight loss fluctuates too - I can go a couple weeks without losing anything, then drop 3 the next week.

Having kept 10 pounds off is GREAT! Using the nutritional tracker keeps me more aware of my poriton sizes than when I don't use it. I also like to read the motivational stories...and visualize the next number I want to see on the scale!

I don't know what food plan you're following, but I have the best results when I use the Glycemic Index food plan and eat more often throughout the day. When I start adding too many carbs, my weight loss slows right down, even if my calories are low. (I've lost a total of 38 pounds since January, 6 since joining SP.)

I don't know if any of this is helpful....but I wanted to let you know you're not alone and not to be too discouraged! Change things up a bit and see if that scale will move!

emoticon Karen
