Thursday's Quotes

I like Cinderella, I really do. She has a good work ethic. I appreciate a good, hard-working gal. And she likes shoes. The fairy tale is all about the shoe at the end, and I'm a big shoe girl. --Amy Adams

Sorry...I had to make myself stop at 10!! I do love shoes!)

My wife loves shoes. I would hate to guess how many pairs she has. I only have one, but since my shoes cost 1000.00 per pair. I really don't need any

As a self-employed house cleaner by trade, the reality of being let go of, replaced, fired on a whim by a client having a bad day, etc., is always a possibility. I have a choice: seeing it as a problem, or as an opportunity.

Currently I have 19 clients with 6 openings. That's 19 bosses with a possibility of 25. I never forget that I can be replaced. I never forget to be grateful.

No matter how calmly you try to referee, parenting will eventually produce bizarre behavior, and I'm not talking about the kids. Their behavior is always normal.
