I checked my Fed Ex tracking email and the phone is in ABQ and being delivered today (a day early). I am excited but then I love gadgets of all size and description. I got up this morning and got my exercise in. For some reason I was running a few minutes behind. Not sure what happened there. I got up at the same 5AM as always but I lost 8-10 minutes somewhere. I got to work a couple minutes before 8AM. I like to get here a few minutes early to get coffee and settle in before it is time to start working. As I get older (50 now) I dislike having to rush everywhere. I would rather start a little earlier and comfortably arrive on time. I was not bad yesterday but I did 100 more calories than I wanted. I am being really good about my exercise though so I should be fine (I hope). It is a life long goal so I am trying and mostly succeeding to treat it that way. I know I will never be able to eat crazy again. If I do get a little wacky I will need to make up for it before and after with calories and exercise. That seems to be the ticket to success. I have always known that but now I am accepting it. That is a pretty big accomplishment for me!
I got an email this morning that I will get my iPhone tomorrow from Fed Ex instead of Thursday. If that is true, I am really happy. I got up and got going with my exercise this morning. I wasn't to excited about it but I need to keep my momentum. It will be that much harder to get it back if I let it go. I am happy today for some unknown reason. I hope it lasts all day! That would be really nice. I am going to email the link for SP to the guy I met on the plane. He was such a nice guy and made the trip fly by (no pun intended). I had better get going with my day. The work fairy didn't show up at my office last night so I guess I will just have to do it myself!
Well I am back to work this morning. It seems okay for the moment. I am still trying to get caught up on my email but the emergency stuff has been handled. The rest is go at your own pace. I was on the bike this morning. I did my usual hour even tough I would have loved to sleep an extra hour. I really wanted the 500+ calorie burn though. I am sure it is helping me do these last few tough pounds. Now I just need to get through the rest of the week and I will be fabulous! I am curious to see my weight next Saturday. My official weight day is on the weekend. I had better get cracking on the emails. They won't answer themselves!
This will be quick. It is late and I need to go to bed. My trip was fun. I did pretty well with the diet. I only went over my calorie range one and it was planned. The airports turned out to be easier than I thought they would. I spread the spark on the plan from DFW to ABQ today. All in all it was a pretty good trip. I am going to get off here and get my laundry out of the dryer.
This is going to be quick. I have a BBQ to get ready for. So far so good with the healthy eating. It has been pretty easy so far. I leave to go back home tomorrow. Hopefully I will not have gained any. I have not been as good with my exercise as I would have liked. I have done the FF&FU each day and we went to walk yesterday at the local Super Walmart. It is rainy, hot and humid outside this weekend so it hasn't been optimal. All in all I am still pleased with how I am doing so far. No off to get ready for the BBQ!
