Creating a Walk A Thon

Tuesday, August 25, 2009

I am creating a Walk-A-Thon for Paws and Think. They are a non profit organization that takes puppies out of shelters/humane societies/puppy mills and use teens that are encarcerated or otherwise in trouble to train the puppies to become handicap assistance dogs! I love working with this organization the people are absolutely WONDERFUL. We are going to have it the 19th of Sept in Indianapolis on the corner of Port alegre and Michigan OR you can walk at your location using a pedometer or mile counter of any sort. We will be in Indianapolis from 8am-5pm. Come one come all and walk with us. You can get signup and pledge sheets from the web site, (right hand side under NEWS) . There will be prizes and shirts for different donations and achievements. It is a great way to get active and meet some people from the area and HELP A GREAT CAUSE!!!!

Baby Steps

Thursday, July 09, 2009

I am doing much better at times (good drugs and laziness) and not so much at times but I'm ok with that for now. I have lost a disk in my back and have to decide if I want to let it fuse naturally, medically fuse it, or try to have an implant or something injected in there. The problem lies in each Dr has a different idea and yet each sound logical. For any of you who have had any back procedures done let me know how they worked for you and what you went thru I am curious to know but please don't completely scare the crap out of me!! Lol!!
