Wow...how good can 1 day get...Losing And Playing is really doing good, and we are one of the featured teams this week...i am awe struck...we have gotten quite a few new members because of it... i am so excited about meeting everyone and making new friends. I have also became co-leading of the FlyLady Sparkers team.... i can't wait until sunday...i'm going to start a flylady/sparkpeople challenge...should be interesting... :) and now we get points for taking polls also...wohoo!!!! i love those points...tehe...

I am tired and a bit fussy...just like a baby...lol... today was a hectic day at work...monday usuallyis anyways, but the last week of the month is just pure torture. Son made burrito's for dinner, so i made a cucumber salad :) a rare treat since i can't stand low fat or fat free sour cream...it has to be the real stuff... but it only ended up around 15o calories per serving after i was done with it...so can't complain too bad...i put it in the recipes to.

Today's Daily Reflection really hit home for me. Sometime we let discouragement and depression hold us back cause we think it will never change...always be the same...and it's so untrue. I never thought i would get out of an abusive relationship...yet i did...never thought after being laid off for a year i would ever find a job again...and yet i have been at this one for 3 years... during those times, i didn't see past the moment... and i made it... now i am going to get through this journey of losing weight and getting healthy...i may get discouraged...i may get depressed...but it is not going to hold me back.

We can always take shortcuts of course...but are they they really worth it? I could go on a crash diet and lose lots of weight, but will me the quality of life that i am really seeking? No it won't. Sometime it is a hard struggle, but it's going to be soooo worth it when i get there; one step at a time.

That quote reminds me of traveling with my father. No one wanted to travel with him. I mean no one not even his own mama, because he wanted to take shortcuts. These shortcuts turned out to be yes shorter on the map when you looked at it at a distantce, but when you got up and close you saw the roads were damaged and the roads were filled with pin curves that they didn't show on the map. He would leave the air off because they were dusty and it was a misable journey. What could have been a nice journey for us and a great adventure turned out to be turtore. Well, seeing as i put everyone to the challenge today, i guess it only right i do it myself..lol...

i'm still very tired from the last 3 weeks, and some family issues have come up, so have not slept well...but all in all...i'm doing ok... my friend is finally out of his coma and is being weened off the venilator...he is also awake and alert and answering questions with the shake of his head...he still has a long rough road ahead, but i am so very happy for the progress he has made thus far in just a couple days....

as for my weight loss, i weighed in today and stayed the same... i am actually happy about that....lol...thought for sure with the way i working and not sleeping last week and the fact that i just did not eat healthy...i would gain...so i am happy to be staying the same...

this week i am working on food entries...i do good and then when i have an off day, i don't record it...of course that lays me wide open for more bad days...i know this...so i am working on it... i have done good about recording it the last couple days...

my next immediate goals is to get under 300...i can do this.

The End Of The Week

Well, i did it, though i am not sure how...i have successfully cramed 50 hrs of work into 4 days. I have soooo much sleep to catch up on. This has also been one of those weeks where stress hits at every angle. Had to borrow money from mom this week for groceries, all my extra money went for the extra gas of running to work twice a day instead of the once and then a friend at work was in a very serious motorcycle accident, they are not sure if he will make it and if he does he will need a liver transplant and most likely be paralysed, though at this point, we are just hoping the head swelling subsides soon.
