For Those That Dare To Look

Wednesday, August 29, 2007

All this week i have been feeling blah...more tired than usual and just...well...blah...i found out today i have sun poisoning and a mild infection...along with some dehydration...though i drink so much water i could drowned a fish...uhg... at least i know why i don't feel good now.... it's not just me...well...it is me...but...oh heck....you know what i mean...lol... i'm suppose to be on bed rest...but i couldn't help but sign in and catch a little encouragement....me not coming here would be like me not coming home...and though i don't have the energy to welcome new members to the teams i belong to, nor offer much in the way of encouragement to others...i am sitting back and letting others encourage me this time...i am only lucky lady and have met some awsome people :)

Hugs! I hope you feel better! Is the doctor recommending something for the dehydration/sun poisoning/infection? Take care of yourself! Sometimes you gotta sit back and ride the wave. :)

About Todays Daily Reflection

Saturday, August 18, 2007

Today's quote was "For sound sleep, no pillow is as soft as a clean conscience." - Anonymous

We don't have to do something bad or wrong to have something prick or conscience and keep us awake...it could be something like a feeling we just aren't good enough...not a good enough spouse (if your married), parent, employee, daughter/son or even a good enough citizen... for most of us, we will have that feeling at some time or another... though i am finding in my own life, that keeping a journal, this one a written one, is helping me to overcome this...in turn....helping me to sleep better at night...i put it on paper, i then use the 3-3's (3 positive things, 3 thankful things & 3 things i love about me), i then close the book...my not good enough's are now history...time to start a new 24 hours...

I'm Exhausted

Friday, August 17, 2007

I am beyond exhausted. My day started yesterday at 4:30am-was at work at 6am-worked until 2:30pm and went and had coffee with mom and then came home and was checking emails and checking out SP when my phone rang...it was work wanting me to come back for "a couple" hours... call me nuts, call me stupid or just call me a glutton for punishment.... by 430pm i was back at work, worked until 10:30pm and was settled and in bed by midnight....the night before i hadn't gone to bed until midnight either....so needless to say...i did not do the 4:30am today....but was up by 5am....i'm tired but luckily it is the weekend now and next week i am on vacation...wohoo!!!!

My quote for today:
"The true measure of an individual is how he treats a person who can do him no good."- Ann Landers
