Along with the revision of my exercises and re-evaluating the weights being used, a recent article brought to my attention some of the other measurement tools used to look at health, i.e., BMI, Ht/Wt Chararts, Wasit/Hip Ratio and based on those measurements my original weight goal is correct. I went one step further and reviewed how my calorie range was generated and what would impact that number. So one other change to incorporate into the mix, given the change in my activity level, is a move to 1600-1950 caloric intake versus the original 1200-1550 to see what kind of difference that will make in my overall muscle development. So far it feels good!

The new exercise routine is starting to work...today I was actually sore. When I became active with SP I experienced this soreness and it was great because it showed that I really pushing myself. I reduced the weights used to avoid overexertion because I got sick at one point to where I was using my own body weight only. As I began to feel better, the weights were increased, but I had not yet reached the original weight levels. The first signs of definition was good, but it was slowed due to become sick...Now I think I'm back on the right track. Just have to keep reminding myself to be patient...the best is yet to come! and I CAN DO THIS! emoticon emoticon

Today has been so wonderfully hectic...did my workout early, early. My pedometer is going crazy today and it feels great! Hope everyone is taking the opportunity to participate in the festivities that are taking place today and, if your schedule is like mine, other activities spread out over the week. Wonderful for the mind, body and the spirit!

I've resisted going through my entire closet, but it had to be done, with assistance. What to and what not to keep! The assistance was much appreciated and offers to taper in some items I want to keep is always welcomed. Although it's taking more time than I anticipated, it has been worth it and I am so happy I did not just throw things away out of frustration.

Tomorrow is the unveiling of a new revised exercise schedule...it looks promising...I'm pleased with what I see and I'm excited about putting it into action. An objective was to learn a healthier lifestyle and develop a mean, lean machine. Well, my eating habits are definitely healthier, and I'm leaner and now to pump up to be meaner emoticon

    emoticon.. I need to clean out my closet as well but unlike you I do not have the will nor the courage to tackle that yet. I know you feel great to have those things taken in and to see the progress you have made.
