Digging in!

Tuesday, February 02, 2010

It's time to regroup and push the envelop...I've lost 20 pounds so far, at the halfway marker...some injuries and being sick has slowed me down (no really, I've simply redistributed my workout so that I do smaller intervals throughout the day) but I'm still sitting at the same 138# -- time to dig in and get closer to my goal. The power is in me - and you - to complete this!

Create your own destiny!

Friday, January 29, 2010

What an empowering thought...I find whenever I tell myself, it time to create my own destiny, I feel the power behind the words...find the words that make you feel that way and you are well on your way to creating your own destiny!

Superb thought. We are what we make ourselves to be....so 'creating our own destiny'. Now if I can just convince the little voice that puts out 'downers' of my goals and aspirations. That 'little voice' is the former me I am trying to change. Dag Nab It.

Take care. emoticon

I totally agree...the words that inspire me are similar! One of my hopes for my son is that he will grow into a person who makes things happen for himself instead of letting life happen to him.

Think outside the box!

Thursday, January 28, 2010

"Why is this so difficult?" You may ask yourself this question from time to time. You want to accomplish a task and you've been shown a path, but you just can't seem to do it. Sometimes the example has to be seen as just that an example. If you seen exercise that you'd like to do, you may need to modify it a little. Everyone is different, so make it work for you....and to make it work for you may mean thinking outside the box and the box is just a guideline, it's not always the rule!

I have been saying that to others also. Some SP friends were concerned they could not follow the boot camp challenge to the "T" - I shared that there was no in heaven or ---- that I could either. I modified immediately and was just glad to be a part of it. emoticon Enjoyed catching up on your blogs.

Again, if you have a moment, please pay a visit and tell me what you think of some of my thoughts.
