I've been struggling with putting together my new program, and yesterday it hit me why. I have had some leg/foot injuries and why selecting my new workouts I've been hesitating on choosing exercises...but no more. Understanding what has been making the change is what has been slowing me down helps alot in how I will approach my new routines. Tomorrow is the unveiling of my new program, giving all I have with a renewed ...Here I go again...and looking forward to crossing the finish line and loving it!

So many things are done because we'd decided they have to get done...we call those activities chores- even the sound of the word tells you you'd prefer to be doing almost anything else. If you are not familiar with an exercise, it's great to try it out, but remember this is for you and finding activities that you will look forward to doing is very important...so have some fun, because this is for you!

This may sound strange to have this cross one's mind, but I'm a firm believer that once you've conquered the mind, the rest will follow, so here goes and hope you enjoy it as much as I do:

A lot of people live their lives in quiet desperation, feeling like they are in a pressure cooking with forces coming from all directions. With so much to do in what seems like so little time, we end up not accomplishing any task to the level we want to or truly can. It's so we can't see the forest for the trees. R-E-L-A-X and it will come.
From the simplest of tasks to any deep core toxic emotons, giving oneself permission to recognize the problem and pick them apart so you can work through them...dare to stay with the problem for there is a solution that's right for you. Challenge yourself and take the extra step...you are worth is and deserve so much.
So, sit up straight and take a deep breath...close your eyes and see the problem...keep breathing in and out, now visualize the picture you want to achieve...let the shoulders drop, and release the tension in your face. It's amazing how the chaos and our emotional reaction to the chaos makes it difficult to both see the solution and react appropriately.
So today, and everyday hereafter, give yourself permission to relax...for it will come!
