Balance your life!

No more juggling...every time I say that it carried a less than positive picture, so chaotic...my new term is balance...it may sound a little silly but words have a power effect...found my balancing board and working to make it a part of my daily routine, like meditating, to continue building my foundation and focusing on my core to make a better and more stable muscle base consisting of the abs and glutes along with the pine...bringing more balance, literally and physically, into my life!

The big picture is so very big to take on all at one time...so chopping it down to sizes that I can handle has made a big difference...Instead of saying I need to lose 35 lbs, I asked for 1 pound each week and grateful if I remained the same weight, happy to get rid of that 1 lb and, of course, overjoyed if I lost 2-3. I wouldn't take for granted the fact that maintaining or losing weight was by some random act, but because of something I was doing...I love to write, so journalizing my journey fit right in, and the nutrition and fitness tracker were just the tools to help me analyze what I was eating, when I was eating it and I'm mix the combinations to see if it made a difference in how I felt if I ate more of this or that food in the morning as opposed to the afternoon or the evening, separately and in conjunction with my exercise routine...I am worth the time, I am worth the effort, I deserve the best, it was just a matter of going beyond talking the talk, but walking the walk...babysteps... thinking small to achieve not just big but lasting results!

    Good job. Always think about the story of Tortoise and the Hare. The tortoise won the race with his small even steady pace. You don't have to take big giant leaps like the hare in order to achieve. Keep taking it slow.

It's important to celebrate each goal that has been reached. It is also important to pay attention to the details and our commitment to our goals. It's all the small things that have come together to make the goals reached possible. Renew yourself daily by taking a look at all the small, but important, changes that led up to your accomplishments; at the same time, take a look at the small actions that could have turned a failure into a success and recommit to choosing better the next time...Renewing yourself helps to re-energize ourselves to take on another day with all it's ups and downs!
