It's so easy to look around and see the things that are going not what they should be, you listen to the news and see how poorly people treat themselves and others...It can get really heavy carrying all that baggage around...Make a point, everyday, to count your blessings because you are blessed! emoticon

I find myself saying often THE POWER IS IN YOU! And so true it is. The choice is always ours to make for ourselves. Over the years, we give away some of our power-sometimes that ok, but not all the time. The boundaries that keep up safe and comforted become harder to handle because we have given away more power than we can afford to. TAKE IT BACK!...The Power is yours...the power is in you...if you are looking to make improvements to yourself and your life, the boundaries have to be renegotiated to include a new way of thinking, new way you want to feel and the senses from your surroundings that make us stronger...as always, The Choice is Mine! Sometimes there seems to be so many choices to make, and it seems difficult to chose just one, but I claim ownership and responsibility for all that I can and the empowerment received from this is AWESOME! You'll be amazed how many choices will fill the bill and how many, when choosing with my best interest in mind, fall right off the table. When you're chosing between the things that fit into your healthy lifestyle, you'll find there's just enough variety to keep life interesting.

Flex your mental muscles...take those setbacks, those problems, those negative thoughts, those stumbling blocks and acknowledge them but don't accept them for they are not your friends. Turn them around and find the silver lining, let the light shine in, the positive opportunities...as soon as you see you're on the wrong path repeating a bad pattern, emoticoncut your losses, learn from it and get right back on the right one. And if I recognize the wrong path faster than I did the last time, that calls for a hug! emoticon emoticon

    That's right. I love this. Each setback has something in it to help us move forward. Like my mom always says to me, when life gives you a bunch of lemons, just make some lemonade.

There are so many things we want for ourselves and our loved ones, it hard to tell sometimes where to start first without feeling that you are placing one over another, but you must choose -- so pick one, YOU!

The love for yourself will get you out of bed, will exercise (even if it's a little) to take care of the external side of you...Even if you don't like the condition of certain body parts, where would you be without them...Accept each part, acknowledge that old way needs to tweeked, decide what you want, pick the tools to reach your goal, and slowly start resculpturing the model...You are a masterpiece in progress, so design away...

Along with the external, comes the internal they work together. List the wonderful things about yourself and each part of you...feed the body with healthy foods and retrain your mind when poor choices come your way, NO means NO, and go for the better choice. Establish new eating habits, find ways to take the power out of your triggers. Take the negative drama out of your life and replace it with positives everywhere you can; let single mistakes stay single mistakes, don't expand it to include everything you do...

Train your body and mind to work together to reach the peaceful harmonious state you dream about!
