Uncertainty is just another name for possibility!

Sunday, July 26, 2009

The mind is a powerful tool, make it work for you is one of life's little lessons. Negative thinking can turn a pebble into a boulder very quickly and with everything one has to deal with on a daily basis, how many boulders can you carry when becomes the question before you can move any further. Carry what you can handle and makes you stronger but unload the rest. Uncertainty can do the same thing, make you stall when you action should be taken. Take the time to reshape uncertainties into positives because uncertainty is just another name for possibility and possibilities bring with it CAN DOs!

I believe!

Saturday, July 25, 2009

All things are possible until they're not...someone could take the position that after one try, if success is not had then give it up...my earlier blog I mentioned S-T-R-E-T-C-Hing onself, that is the rule to apply. If you don't accomplish the first time, then keeping trying...constantly feed your belief with positive affirmations and it will take you where you want to go...I Believe I can do anything I put my mind into!

S-T-R-E-T-C-H!

Friday, July 24, 2009

To get better at anything, you need to stretch yourself...push the limits just a little further than before...it's doesn't just apply to your exercises but everything in your life. See how far you can really reach by stepping outside of the comfort zone, babysteps will do. The goal is always to ultimate to grow stronger, wear down the negative internal voices that stop you from achieving what you deserve. Make a game of it, and keep it fun as you reach for new heights.

I totally agree! I have been adding things into my life that I didnt even know I would like and man, has it been a motivator! I am now hiking almost every weekend and exploring new places and activities like running (and I am NOT a runner normally), biking, kayaking and kickboxing training (I am super girlie so this quite a feat) when, before this "ah-ha" moment- my idea of an outing was to go to the movies so I could have extra butter popcorn.
It's great when it finally clicks, isn't it?

Good luck and thank you for the reminder that life is what you make and there is so much to experience if you just setyour mind to it!

Keep movin' up!

Wednesday, July 22, 2009

I've been gaining and losing the same pounds over and over but I'm not letting that stop the program, just adjusted my thinking...sometimes movin' up is continuing the build consistency while meeting new challenges. Everything changes for one reason or another and it's important to see that I can maintain under different types of stresses/different situations. It may not seem like movement, but not having my weight etc bounce all over the place and letting external events determine where I am is definitely a move forward.

I'm trying new dishes...I'm trying my hand with different ways to use barley and black beans and meeting my nutrient level is being easier each day along with exercises and drinking my water I'm definitely movin' up!

Well, one thing is certain: we all are just alike. Everyone who has been on the quest to shed pounds gain and lose those same pounds. A family member used to always joke that she lost 100 pounds. But the thing is, she lost 2, gained 4, lost 3, gained 5. She lost 100 but in the end, she gained 100 too.

Like you said on your main page, it all starts with one spark. That new dishes you try is a spark. And I like barley, although it sure does take too long to cook. Sometime, try it as a breakfast cereal with sweetener, raisins, milk, and if you choose, other fruits such as banana, strawberries, blueberries, etc. Itís soo good.
