HAPPY NEW YEARS!

The world-wide day to scream DO-OVER! Last year I took the bull by the horns and while it was productive, I lost 20 lbs, and ever so entertaining, this year I'm making peace with it and together we're going to make this year work even better than the last!

One day at a time...babysteps...good overall body functioning includes weight management, proper eating/liquid intake, stress management and sleep...I've never been a heavy person, in fact the most I've ever weighed was when I was pregnant and that weight came off easily because of how active I was. I've never been a person who ate poorly (I love fruits, vegetables etc)...SP has helped a lot to keep me better understand what I have always been doing and kickstarted reincorporate of rigorous daily exercise......Two down emoticon

Two to go...stress and sleep...the goal is to have a plan developed by 01/09/2009 for implementation...the festivities from the holidays are keeping me very busy, and I'm evaluating my exercise routine and eating on a weekly basis and it's time to slowly take back my old sleep schedule....While I function fine on 6 hours of sleep, I feel much better than when was getting only 4-5 hours and I know it's better for my overall health...IT'S TIME! (Didn't mean to make a pun but HAHA!)

Yesterday, tried a basic circuit training set...not too bad...alternating strength training and cardio was actually a lot of fun...Looking for yoga and pilates routines also as possible weekend alternative as well...Went over my calories and carbs yesterday, but my weight stayed the same so I have scheduled circuit training for tomorrow while staying within my calorie/carb range and see if it is burning off enough calories to keep.

Reached 139lbs today emoticon Still need to evaluate what worked, but a plan is coming together so I can rotate exercises every week or every two weeks to keep routine fresh... Still working on some major stressors, but have located assessment tests that may help there...if assessments are good, may also help with being able to sleep more.

For what has been put into place...I'm doing well and I am pleased with results...Seeing is believing! Keep up the good work! emoticon
