You are a masterpiece in progress!

Saturday, June 13, 2009

It takes time for an artist to reveal the beauty in their work...as each new layer is applied something else is revealed to inspire or redirect in a positive way. If the first action doesn't yield the results desired, keep working it...I am the masterpiece and the artist; stepping back to take a second to observe is important...and every step forward is progress...so keep striving!

Go for it!

If it's positive, energizes and rejuvenates you...then go for it...and remember all things in moderation! I say this because I was go good with my exercises today...work to exhaust then STOP! This is important for me to stress to myself while continuing to develop and becoming healthier.

The giant oak is an acorn that held its ground!

Thursday, June 11, 2009

Standing steady...and being patient...today is a light day and keeping that way...no power walks, just walking and feeling better enjoying the day and my life...eating what I should be, working around my home today and relaxing the mind...holding my grounds in the eye of this storm!

Be positive in all you do!

Wednesday, June 10, 2009

Monday was suppose to be my day to get back to my schedule, but I hit a setback, and somewhat glad I did...while I've been pampering my foot/leg I've gone back over my exercise schedule and what was a 2 week schedule is now a 4 week plan...hopefully to make sure I am sure overdoing the exercise. The reason for this is, so I have been told more than once, that even when I'm not formally exercising I exercise, which means I have been doing more than what I'm listing on the fitness tracker...Part and of this I know is my excitement about getting back to doing things I have done before, feeling really good about the results so far and additional time on my hands, but essentially I am overexercising- that's not good, but I have to stay positive and realize that I have identified the workout elements that I can live with, it is broad enough to keep me from being bored with a workout and I've shown good judgement on adjusting my caloric intake because I've been able to maintain my weight so far...Practice makes perfect so when I make a decision whether I want to go down my original goal of 125, I have a lot more faith I can keep it there... emoticonnow that's something to help keep me positive as I continue on my journey.

Make each day special!

Friday, June 05, 2009

Never forget the little things that add up to make it all worth while...Over the last 2 weeks or so, I have been recovering from an injury to my foot/leg and have slowed down, and not only cut back on the amount of exercise but also the way I have been exercising (replacing stand up exercises for ones that allow me to sit or lay down to perform)...Taking the time to once again observe the muscles do what they are suppose to do and appreciating every moment. Each take the time to make it special and show yourself just how special you are in the world! It's amazing how it all adds up to making you one dynamic human being!

This is so true. Like an old song my mother would sing sometimes, "little things mean alot" and that's the truth.
