Make it happen!

Thursday, May 21, 2009

No matter what the weather, my favorite mantras are: never surrender never give up; keep pushing until something gives; Just do it!; mind over matter. My exercise routine today will consistent again covers multiple parts of the body, alternating days. I read another member's blog wherein the following link was provided and it fit so well into pulling together the total package that I'm including it here...May it bring a smile to your face as it did for me...

Just do it til you're satisfied!

Wednesday, May 20, 2009

Woke up a little frustrated today because I took on more than I could possibly handle yesterday...and knew it but still tried. The early morning wake up has thrown me off schedule, but today I will have to JUST DO IT til I'm satisfied that I have worked out to my satisfaction...exercising multiple body parts, more strength training than hard core aerobics, and changing up the reps/sets. I'm not ready to increase the weight levels, but mix it up a little!

Savor every second of your life!

Tuesday, May 19, 2009

Even the painful one...there's a lesson to be learned through every experience...Hold on tight and enjoy the ride...I've been maintaining my weight and measurements have remained steady through it all, I'm savoring every second and showing my appreciation for all that I have learned.

Push on-there's nothing to fear but fear itself!

Monday, May 18, 2009

It has been decided that my arch has not fallen, but that I am overexerting my poor foot muscles...so while I have not changed by exercise plan I am doing better changing the way I perform the activities...some standup exercises have been switched so I am sitting or lying down and so far my recovery is coming along. So nothing to fear, my new routine has not taken me out of the race, just changed my notion of what I need to do to reach the goal line, become healthy and strong and stay there....so I'm pushing on!

Be the master of your time!

Tuesday, May 12, 2009

While it may seem like I'm not setting a good example of mastering time, I've tried twice to fall asleep and just tossed and turned, so I'm putting the time to good use...drinking water and tea instead of grabbing munchies... and with the reduced exercise schedule to help my foot heal and stay well I'll still be able to fit everything in. That will work!

Good for you. And you may want to look into exercises you can do that won't put stress on your feet. One that I do sometimes is lay on my back and move my legs as if I were pedaling a bicycle. That works your legs, abs, lower back, AND gives you a nice cardio workout.

YAY for you! It's hard not to start munching when you're in pain and you're unable to sleep. Stay positive and hope you're drinking soothing tea emoticon
