Dreams know no limits!

When I started SP I weighed 159 lbs with a goal of reaching 125 lbs. I'm currently at 138 lbs and testing my ability to maintain while keeping certain nutrients in order. Dreams know no limits...the dream was later expanded to include not just losing weight, but building more muscle, something I thought about but had not placed much importance on until I began to reach the 140 lbs marker. With each year, the ability to maintain muscle is very important given that as we age our skin loses elasticity. As I empty my physical shell of fat, it has to be replaced with something. On MYPAGE there's a picture titled EYE CANDY...Ok I'm not expecting that much definition, but ahhhhh to dream of my muscle tonality going in that direction....they definitely know no limits!

Spark On!

It's been rough getting started today, but perservering! Today's goal is to Spark On! I know what needs to be done, I know how to accomplish it (and where there are questions, there are answers and I will find them). When there seems to be so little time to get things done, it's the perfect time to take a minute or two to close one's eyes and visualize the goals, don't beat myself up -- all things in time!

Life can seem so heavy sometimes, so make it fun...that is the goal for today. Yes there are items on my TO DO list today that I don't enjoy doing, but I know they need to be done...so the mission is to PLAY...it'll help it go by faster and maybe even burn off some extra calories!

Today was a tough one, trying to keep my nutrients in line...too much iron, too little fats, cholestrol too high, staying within guidelines for vitamin...Starting a chart of the foods I consume in terms of vitamins. Not every nutrient flushes out of the body easily and can actually do more harm than good if allowed to build up over time.

Take the time to worship and reflect!

In all the things we hope, wish and pray for...take the time to worship and reflect on everything past, present and future and take charge of your life...everything isn't as random as we sometimes think it is when chaos is all around. Determine what is working and what is not. The change in caloric intake is working given my exercise regime and I have been maintaining my weight and knowing how that feels and the steps to make it happen will be much needed when I reach my goal.
