Thinning out closets, file cabinets, and me!!

Lost 3.6 pounds this past week...finally!!! I need to take my measurements for this month so I can compare them with last month...I also need to get a not-so-before-photo taken of myself...time to set up the tripod and camera.

Was playing with some old photos of the kids this morning - wanted to create a photo memory for them. Of course, my printer ran out of ink just as I was printing emoticon. So, I made it my new desktop background.


Have a zillion and one things to do today!! I'm on a roll LOL and gotta keep moving emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Monday, again

I cannot believe the nerve pain I'm having since those 19 hours of work on Friday and Saturday!! That, and not being able to get warm.

I did get a walk in today, and I'll be getting my BLC12 24/7 Gym 100's in before I head to bed....which is where I've spent most of my day trying to get warm.

I finally broke down and took some pain med, and it did help so doing the Monday 100's shouldn't be too difficult.

Goals...they are a changin'!

1.) Make myself eat! After the 28 day Daniel Fast I'm finding it difficult to re-introduce breads (multi-grain), eggs and turkey back into my diet...they are so filling!! I'm going to have to plan 6 small meals a day. I have found that I eat much more slowly than before.

2.) Limit myself to 1C of coffee a day. That's what I did today. I don't want coffee replacing my water as it has in the past.

3.) Lose 5 pounds by February 21st. That is a realistically achievable goal.

4.) Reward myself with a new book for every 5 pounds I lose. I love to read!!

Long term goals:

1.) To lose the rest of this weight before December 21st. Again, another achievable goal.

2.) To maintain a fitness routine daily...join the YMCA. That has to wait till my taxes are done, which is why it's a long-term goal. Plus, it's also a reward to myself.

Yesterday is the first day since I've been back with SP that I did not meet my fitness goals, NOR did I get my 10 glasses of water...got half, although I went to bed before adding another glass of water to my tracker :(

What a bugger. Working 9 hours today so maybe I won't be as tired when I get home tonight and I'll be able to get in some of the challenges and my cardio.

Time for breakfast...and to let Nezzie out for a bit. She hates being caged all day.

Worked 10 hours today...can barely keep my eyes open...how am I going to get my fitness in??? I am soooo tired.

I'd forgotten what it takes to tend to a 2 year old who doesn't know that she is sick...who also has a 'bug' with raging diarrhea. She hadn't a clue, but she sure kept me hopping!!! Alas, when you're crawling around on the floor with a 2 year old the pedo doesn't count any steps [sigh} Then there's the being moved upstairs so it was up and down the stairs for her meals.

No wonder I'm tired!!!

Pooped! Beat! Worn out!! That's what shopping and 2 hours of lifting and bending and moving furniture and climbing up on chairs to reach things and climbing up and down, on and off the bed to get to a closet that's up in the wall will get you!!

Was stressing because I didn't know how I was going to get 30 minutes of cardio in on the gazelle...DUH!! All that stuff I did around the house counts as cardio! Yay! And that 2 hours went by so fast. What's really amazing is that a month ago I would have been stopping every 15 or 20 minutes because my legs would have been killing me. Not today...all those lower body routines I've been doing are paying off!!! emoticon

FINALLY bought a new pedo...I have lost two getting off planes emoticon
Got this one set up...heard a beep after I sat down when I was done with all that activity, and apparently I'd hit the reset button and lost all my steps :( It did it again later on when I sat down to get online. Guess I'm going to have to make sure I'm sitting up straight and not slouching from now on. LOL

Now I'm going to grab my massager and head to bed - my neck and shoulders are in knots that no amount of stretching has managed to relieve.
