I am violently sick today. I don't know if it's the food from clinical or the bug going around, but I am not well. After HAVING to go to school early for a test and 7 hour seminar I came home, took medicine and went to sleep. Still feel terrible. Going back to bed.

    Bummer! I hope you feel better soon! Was it the shake? It might have been a shock after all that sugar and fat and who knows what else after all that controlled eating. Good luck!

Free Day!

I've been wanting that sonic shake - and after the last day of crazy clinical I drove all the way out to Sonic in the Pittsburgh Mills.... and THEY RAN OUT OF THE INGREDIENTS!!! Disappointed pirate was disappointed. I ended up getting a strawberry pie shake which good, but not what I've been waiting all week for.

Off to study more for the first test of the semester!

    BUMMER! How do they run out of ingredients?!?! I remember when I worked at Pizza Hut, sometimes we'd run out of Medium pizza dough, it was always weird telling customers we were out. I'd get the strangest looks. Better luck next time. :-D

One week down - 11 to go! WOOOOO!!!!

Did lower body today - still feel kinda silly with my sad little 10 and 15 lb weights. But I know you got to start somewhere. Oh well...

Went shopping today and I hate how much more healthy foods cost. I know that I can afford it since I am eating those things instead of $8 for one Wendy's meal or whatever.

Tomorrow is the last day of the h/riff/lish clinical site - I can't wait for it to be over!!!!!!!!! My big plan for that free day is getting that sonic cheese cake milkshake something that has been on tv. I am actually very surprised at myself that I have been able to wait until my free day to have extra treats. Go will power!

I bought the first BFL book from half price books today. I want to share this program with someone, but am trying to wait until they ask. (Even though all my friends have heard me go on and on about the program for myself already. HAHA)

Lost 5 pounds already! :D I'm not going to take measurement's until week 4 - I don't think there will be enough change to see on the tape measure in just one week.

I think had too many carbs today. I haven't tracked it yet - but when I was packing last night I was struggling to find proteins to eat. I need to go shopping tomorrow. HAHA.

I found out I am more likely to eat an orange that is already cut up. Lazy pirate doesn't like to peel.

Did cardio at the gym. The recombinant bike is still killing me.

Facebones is coming along nicely ;D


BFL - Day 6

Some how I messed up what days I weight train and what days I do aerobic. Aerobic should be Sun and Tues - that way if I don't feel like leaving the house on my days off - I can just use the bike downstairs. I will swap it the right way after weds free day.

I spent the morning asleep - still trying to get over cold without it derailing my school attendance and workout routine. I had big plans to get up - make food for the day, workout then head to my pal's house... only to sleep until almost noon throw together some food and go visit my friend. Oh well. Stuck to my meal plan - my friends had pizza, and I didn't feel left out or want any so that was good. I think having a tummy full of yummy cottage cheese and fruit helped. I don't know how good my resolve would be on an empty stomach. haha. On the drive over - I had the urge to pick up some fast food - out of habit mostly - but I didn't and felt accomplished when I got there :D

Since my day didn't go as planned - and I had weights mistakenly scheduled for today - I ended up doing upper body at home with the resistance band... and the band kicked my a/riff/s!

.... some how I've also messed up my blog days. How is today 6, when tuesday should be a week!? Confused pirate is confused.
