Well, today is the start of a new week! I lost 3.2 pounds at my WW meeting today. I stopped at the Farmer's Market on my way home and bought apples and some whole wheat bread and a few fresh herbs. We have a very large garden and fruit trees ourselves, but except for the winter squash, everything is gone or canned/frozen. I suppose I could have dried my herbs for use over the winter, but I really like the smell and taste of fresh ones more.
I spent the afternoon planning my menu for the week, making some pumpkin muffins and cutting the meat off all the chicken breasts I had cooked to use in recipes for later this week. For me a big part of my success if planning ahead. I always know at least the day before what I'm going to eat the next day and track it the night before. It's easy to change if something comes up or changes, but I like knowing ahead of time that I'm OP still.
Tonight is bowling night! I need a little relaxation after moving my DS and DIL into their new home yesterday. Closing kept getting delayed but finally happened Friday and at just 21, they are homeowners! I'm so proud of them.
