So, I had my WI today. Finally, down 2 pounds. I've been working really hard, have faithfully kept track of everything and stayed in my range, drank tons of water... and still the scale wasn't budging.
This last week I restarted C25K and I think it jump started me again. Now to figure out how to keep the scale moving in the right direction :-)

I'm off to start week 2 of C25K. At first I thought I might need to do week 1 again and get into this very slowly, but I know I've got it in me to run at 90 second intervals!
I'm ready with my iPod. Yes, Simone, it was so simple and I can't believe I had to have Meghan show me, LOL.
My Garmin is on, including chest strap and foot pod. I'm really excited to see how things progress each week when it can track so many things for me.
It's down to 80 at the moment with humidity at 70%, but I have a bottle of water with me so I should be good to go!

My fruit trees are really starting to fill up. The fruits are still small, but they are plentiful. Last year the squirrels ate or knocked off every single pear. So far this year they have pretty much left them alone (knock on wood!)
The apples are starting to come along too.

We also have plums, blueberries, blackberries and raspberries each year.
I'm really looking forward to when everything is ready. Our vegetables are kind of iffy this year. The tomato plants are coming along really well (we have about 100 plants of different varieties), but the moles keep eating the beans, squash and cabbage. Everything else is doing well-beets, okra, corn, peas, turnips, potatoes, peppers, pumpkins, watermelons and cantaloupe. We ended up putting some plants in big pots closer to the house so those are pretty safe, but the large garden is taking a big hit :-( We've replanted like 4 weeks in a row now. Finally this week we went the entire week with nothing eaten...keeping fingers crossed.

Let's just hope everything continues to come along. I really look forward to this time of year when everything is growing and will be ready to pick soon.
This is a photo from last year. This is the amount I took into work and gave away each week...above what we kept and used or froze! To get an idea of how much is actually here, all of those white buckets are the 5 gallon paint bucket sized buckets.
I can only hope this years garden does even half as well! If it does, all of my NOVA Spark friends can get plenty of fruits and veggies to make their minimum of 8 fruits and veggies per day :-)

I did good today!! I got way more fruit and veggie servings (at least 14-15, didn't actually count them up), I got 86 gms of protein!! (I usually struggle to get my minimum of 60) And I did a higher intensity cardio today!!
While I've always tracked my food, I decided to make my food tracker public too after talking to Louisa. I loved looking at hers and getting ideas and if everyone can see it, I'm more likely to make sure everything is good
I'm working on tomorrows menu now....and the treat to myself for the first half of the week.
I'm really glad you set these challenges up Louisa. I have them on my Ruby teams too...different ones... and all together I'll eventually be a lean, mean running machine :-)
