Today (well yesterday now since it's Thursday am now) was my oldest daughter, Emily's 20th B-day. She wanted to go to Chili's for dinner. This is Emily and her boyfriend Beau:
Emily was my Weight Watcher buddy from the time she was 13 years old. She went from 5'3 and 169 pounds to 5'7 and 115 pounds and has been a Life time free WW member since she was 15 (although technically she can't go now because she falls below the acceptable weight range and would have to gain to return). She stayed with the program and works really hard to eat well. A lot of people think she is too thin, but she is healthy, happy and eats a very well balanced diet. I think she looks great! If we go some where for cake and ice cream for a birthday celebration, she eats a yogurt and piece of fruit instead. Tonight I had printed the NI from the menu so I could choose to eat within my calorie/point range and when I pulled it out to show her, she had already checked and figured exactly what she was having. It took me half an hour to decide what I wanted that fit into what I could eat without going over. With being back on track and motivated, I wasn't going to go over. I ended up having broccoli cheese soup and the Caribbean shrimp small salad. That brought me smack in the middle of my range so I did good. I also had 5 glasses of water with lemon while there and I'd already had my water in for the day before we got there.
This is my other daughter, Meghan who is 14 and I. She is my current WW buddy and has lost about 10 pounds. She is at the top of the healthy weight range for her height but would like to be closer to the middle to bottom of it.
Together we both walk, go to the gym and try to help each other along. I'm very happy to have a great family of supporters with my girls.
