Those that know me well, know I am a die hard Caps fan. I LOVE hockey and I love my Caps. I rarely miss a game. My daughter-in-law Amber's friend has season tickets. I wish I could afford them, but they are way out of my league price wise. I go to the occasional game as I can. Every year they have an autograph party at a local Amusement Park, Six Flags. This year her friend had two extra tickets and Amber invited me to go with her. It's a ticket exchange, you trade one of your season tickets for a game to get into this event and the park is closed to everyone except the season ticket holders that exchanged their tickets. While there are many ticket holders, it's a huge park so it was nothing like going on a normal day. They had free parking, they provided a complete meal to the fans free of charge and we got to ride all the rides just as if the park was open. It was from 6pm-9pm. The players were at tables in groups of two throughout the park and you took something to have autographed and got to meet them and chat for a minute. I had so much fun!! Of course the more popular players had long lines to wait for them, but it was so neat seeing them all and actually getting to say hello and chat for a minute. We took a few pics:
I had a small hockey stick to get autographs on:

Of course they lost their game the next day and that was disappointing, but the season has just begun!
LET'S GO CAPS!!
