Rainy day today

Tuesday, March 08, 2011

Well I woke up this morning to rain. I did 30 minutes of Turbo Jam (20) and 10 minute trainer. Since it was raining at lunch, I walked for 20 minutes. I had to go to bldg 1 3 times to bring boxes over so I got a workout there, so much so that my shirt was damp under my rain jacket.

This evening I did 20 minutes of walking. Beat my fiance again on steps.

tomorrow is another day.

Competition Day 2

Monday, March 07, 2011

Okay, I woke this morning and I did a little of Sparking, then got up and did 4 miles of walking (DVD) for 45 minutes. Did 2 loads of laundry and view 5 new exercise video's. I was surprised that 1 video was boring and I ended up falling asleep (2 hrs). Woke up at 1:30 and continued viewing the rest of the video. One was a Kettleball video. I'm going to try it in a few days. My arms are sore right now. I'll let you know how it goes.

Later in the evening, I did 20 minuttes of Turbo Jam and walked another 30 minutes.

For far I'm ahead.....YES!

Tired so I'm going to bed.

Competition is ON!

Saturday, March 05, 2011

Well I woke this morning and something triggered inside me. What was it....Oh I know...determination to lose this weight. I was going to go walking, but decided to do my DVD workout. I started with the "Biggest Loser" DVD and did 50 minutes of cardio. Then I did 15 minutes of the "Burn" on "Turbo Jam" and 20 minutes of "Cardio" of Turbo Jam and 20 minutes of Sculpting of "Turbo Jam". I was soaked, but felt really good.

My fiance was on-line and we was so impressed that we decided to have a competition as to who will burn the most calories, minutes, steps and miles. I said "IT'S ON". The motivation is there and I'm going to do and win at this challenge. Wish me luck....WOO WOO!

I love this man...he has given me the motivation I needed to push through.

Wedding date pushed back

Friday, March 04, 2011

Well my fiance and I decided to push our wedding date back to August 2011. There's some paperwork that we don't have and it wouldn't have come back in time for us to get married. Surprising I'm not bummed out about. It just means MORE TIME FOR TO LOSE THIS WEIGHT. I'm actually glad. Plus we are hoping a job comes up by that time. He already bought my wedding ring and it's beautiful.

My family room is finally finished....yes I now have one room completely done. Next is the back bedroom and hallway.

I've started jogging again, but I need to incorporate more cardio and strength training if I'm going to lose this weight. My fiance is also getting into the act of exercising now. So I guess we have a contest to see who will lose our weight first. I'm hoping it's me, but we'll see.

Hi! Congratulations on your engagement ...enjoy it! People get married way too fast these days. I did find me a good man 24 and a half years ago and i am still in love with him. Marriage is work but WELL WORTH IT! (when you have the right man) God bless you both! momnana2 ps- All the work you do fixing the house up will definitely help on the weight loss.

February 21st

Monday, February 21, 2011

It's been awhile since my last blog. I spent a wonderful time with my fiance while he was here from February 10 - February 15th. We went everywhere to find the accessories for the family room. It was the first time he saw the room put together. I was amazed at how good it looked. He said I did a great job.

We did go walking/jogging on Friday at Mission Bay and I kicked butt. We jogged for 90 minutes. We had fun. I went to work on Monday, February 14 for 1/2 day and walked 4.5 miles home.

My foot has definitely healed and started walking again during lunch time. I have also started jogging slowly and it feels good too.

I met a few of my San Diego Spark Team on Saturday and we hiked up Torrey Pines. It was awesome. I had a great time. I'm going to bring my fiance to Torrey Pines the next time he is here.

I started putting up my final touches to the family room, putting up the blinds. The electrician came on Sunday to finish the final touches on the miscellaneous things.

I need to push up my workouts, because I haven't really lost anything. So I'm going to start working on the dvd's again and see what happens.
