day 6

Sunday, October 03, 2010

no stove, no power to basement stovetop, eating whatever is in fridge,,
got paint, primer, rollers,
today is setting new mousetraps in moms house, collecting her bills to pay, laundry, grocery shopping,,
trying to stay warm,, had to break down and actually turn the furnace on last night,, could not get warm,, finally had to bite the bullet and cover the A/C unit and turn it off for the year..

I can hardly wait to see the snow fall and shovel it and scrape it and pile it up and slip and slide on it all year,, it brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it.. emoticon emoticon (sarcasm)

Will your power eventually be back on or it's just while they are working on the kitchen?

Heater? wow! I'm still in shorts. Although it's cooling off it's not "cold" enough for heater.

Now you stop that snow talk. I know you ahve not msised it one bit.

Linda I do agree about the furnace so early. We were tempted last night but discovered we left a window wide open. What a mistake.
I am with you on the snow, it is beaytiful some moenings. It takes your breath wawy with its beauty and it takes your breath away when your nose freezes also.
Hope most of this will be done in the very near future.
Pat in Maine.

You sure have your share of stuff to deal with these days! The furnace already -- in the beginning of October? Hope that doesn't mean a long, cold winter ahead of us! Stay warm!
