bad news for me

Went to neurosurgeon appointment: Due to diabetes, suture line is not healed enough to warrant return to work, for over three more weeks. HE wanted me to be off two more months!! I would not be able to live without income that long, this is bad enough..

I whittled him down to third week of NOvember,, just paid bills, not much left in my accounts,, I just cannot get ahead..
I am praying that I can make up time next year,, it is too late now for 2011..
good news is: I just received my Dvd that I won spinning the points wheel!! Nicole's new bloast DVD!! Yea!! There is always a bright spot in your life...

Lin, just hang in there GF. You know they say God doesn't lay any more on you than you can handle. You will get well, and back to your busy life. Try Debbieannes suggestion about at least the mortgage. Usually if you need to make just the interest payment for 2 or 3 months, they will work with you, and you can make up the payments as you go along. Of course it depends on how much of what you are paying, is interest, and how much goes on the principal. If it's just a few dollars, it's not worth it, but it is worth asking about. Just take care of you. Debbieanne, how is Dennis? Lots of trouble and sadness on this page. I'm going to send a note to Janicecole. Sounds like she's got troubles too.... Take care.... LINDA, That is really a downer. I was thinking you would be back at work soon. Sorry it has come to another three weeks off work. I hope the hand is getting better hopefully no infection just slow healing. I am on Antibiotic and i have a cranking head ache Sorry Linda, I just cannot think straight. SORRY, I HAVE DIABETES AND HEAL SOOOO SLOWLY TOO. GETTING READY TO HAVE HAND SURGERY DUE TO A BROKEN HAND BACK IN APRIL. I WONDER HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE TO HEAL??? if you have trouble with yoru bills talk to them about it and they will let it slide. After all i know you have been good even excellent with yoru payments. don't worry and rest yiour ahnd. Do what your Dr. says to do and not to do. Eat right keep your numbers good. Went to the fruit market for apples,, fresh from Michigan orchards.. yummers..
so many kinds,, gonna stew some with spices for applesauce, slice for dipping with peanut butter and nutella.
got a case of greeek yodgurt for $3!!

We were very blessed that none of the 30+ trees fell on our home or pool. Neighbors had their forty foot-high spruce tree rip put at the root and fall between their home and another, across their front yard and onto the driveway and partially in the road! This tree was planted in the late 1940's when those homes were built.. very large, very heavy and very dead now,,
We had some limbs fall behind the pool, on the pool cover and stabbed into the ground like big black swords!!!
We are now pumping the 10-15,000 gallons of water off the pool cover, then will tackle the many, many, many bushels of leaves and smaller branches to clear them off the cover to make way for snow and ice. It is an all-day job, but half the water is now pumped off,,
Never a dull moment here, but the excitement is never exactly glamorous...

The winds are even stronger today than yesterday,, (50+mph) we have a flood and wind advisory until tomorrow. It is raining so hard that I cannot see anything out my windows. Even the streetlight... too dark yet to see if the pool cover stayed on after we re-attached it last evening.
DD said she thought somebody drove into the house last night before bedtime, it was the bushes slamming against OUR BRICK HOUSE!!!

Up to four inches of rain in less than 24 hours, we live in Saginaw Bay of Lake Huron, so this is a very big deal! No outdoors today... so glad we got the parents house fixed when we did.. not sure which county their trash can will end up in though.. since DD had her wisdom teeth extracted, we have not been back there to retrieve it from near the road.. Cie` la vis`!!!

LINDA WE HAVE NOTHING AS BAD AS THAT WE JUST HAVE RAIN HERE. WE DID GET THE POOL COVER EMPTY OF LEAVES AND WATER AND NOW THE DECIDUOUS LEAVES ARE FALLING. I HOPE THERE IS NO WIND AND THOSE LEAVES DO NOT BLOW ALL OVER US. I KNOW IT WILL HAPPEN. I CAN HOPE CANT I?. I HOPE YOU ARE PREPARED, I AM SURE YOU ARE AS WE ALREADY ARE FOR THE WHITE STUFF. WE HAVE HAD MILDER TEMPS OF LATE AND MANY OF THE TREES ARE STILL GREEN. I PANTED GRASS I HAVE NEVER WATERED IT AND THE PINE NEEDLES AND RAIN PROTECTED IT FROM THE BIRDS.
