Three A.M. morning

Saturday, April 09, 2011

The day is burning away, time to get up,, actually, hip and joint pain are bad, going to get my hairs camouflaged and cut this morning , so might as well get up and maybe walk before I go..
Did some hose sucking yesterday, the two hoses are still draining water off the pool cover,, there are probably about forty-fifty bushels of leaves under that water,, that is the hard part..
maybe before church today I will start scooping some out..

LUCKY you we still have ice for crying out loud. I hope this weekend warming trend will help. We never know if we need to fill it in or fill it up. Its been there close to 40 years and we always think it is not going to work this year so lets fill it in.
I wanted to put trout in there but I discovered its illegai. no idea about that, we do have some strange laws in Maine.

Very hard day at work,, left immediately after work to bank for mom, then to Walgreens for mom, then to visit mom.. labeled her wheelchair, new walker, old walker, brought her more diapers and tissues, visited with her and other folks awhile,, till my internal dinner bell rang,,
actually things took an upswing after work: I received checks for all the money the car insurance company took from mom's account after she no longer had a vehicle.. that $$ should pay for her new gutters on her house,, all of her income tax return $$ was deposited in her account, as was all that $$ I did all that paperwork for and faxed to the investment company Monday..

I got a bill for all of that lab work the rheumatologist ordered for me for February,, to the tune of $700!! I got a big bargain on that,, insurance paid lots, so all I owe the lab is $200!!
On the downturn, I also got a bill for my slam-o-gram that I already paid,, but this bill is four times what I already paid.. my insurance should have covered it,, got another phone call to make..
Some things are looking up.. mom is finished with her PT at her new home, maybe the rent will decrease,, it should..
still have to pay trust attorney and wait to hear what I am supposed to do with all this money in her checking account.. more $$ than I have ever earned in my lifetime!!

It is times like this that I know I HAVE to get away for a few days or keel over from the stress.. no more guilt over the $$ I am spending on myself..

The wedding is very small:I am the only attendant standing with groom's uncle. Church Mass, reception in parish hall afterwards,, we are also going back to their house to take pics in their gazebo..
very laid back,,

I made my hot stone massage appointment for next week.. we will be back from Hawaii,, also made hair appointment,, they asked me if I minded a male masseuse.. I actually prefer one as they have more upper body strength to give a better massage..
all the color has gone from my eye now, just a huge scab and red mark on my knee from the fall.. glad it is gone for the wedding..

wrote a note to Upper Peninsula cabin owner to see if they have the cabin available for me in August,, he will receive it by Saturday,, hope to hear from them soon..

Who would not want Male masseuse LOL, what a question. What is the bit about Hawaii, are they going there for their honeymoon.

I do so hope you can get your cabin, that will give you something nice to think about all summer long. I know your summer is just as hsort as ours but we can dream HUGS, LINDA Pat in Maine. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

OH how i love goulash never heard of it till we came to Miane.
It is pretty much like my Mothers old standby MINCEMEAT. just ground (MINCED) Beef. Onions, never tomatoes-we never ate them they did not grow in Enland where we lived.
Thicken the gravy, lots of salt and pepper we ate it with Youkshire puddings (POP-OVERS ) to you . Mostly we ate SPUDS (potatoes) and cabbage to go along with it. Sometimes a turnip and DH and I both still have that. These days I never serve bread at the table and I never do yorkshire pudding with potato. Too much starch.
Just comparing our grub, Pat in Maine.HUGS and TTFN Pat in Maine, emoticon emoticon emoticonTaTa for now!
