I am very hungry right now, looked in teh fridge for something to just grab, nothing easy or healthy jumped out at me(truth be told, if it DID jump, hunger would be the least of my problems) so now i sit here waiting for an idea to magically jump into my brain to prepare something nutritious and quick,, multi grain cheerios, smart balance fat free milk and a banana.
OR soup.. okay be back later, Let the Hunger games begin!!

A beautiful day her, windy, sunny,, no rain!! Big storm last night with tornado touching down south of us, walls of water dropping in Frankenmuth, but we are in a valley , so usually avoid the tornadoes.
I decided to take advantage of the windy day and swept and steam scrubbed my one bathroom floor, front entry floor, and kitchen floor. they dried in about ten minutes!!
I love the feeling of a just-cleaned house.. I would also love if I did not have to actually do the work LOL, but my Hazel-fairy flew away years ago, so I take even greater pleasure when it IS done!
I hope everybody else is safe after that terrible storm last night.. this year has been such a bad tornado one..
an addendum to yesterdays blog: The drunk guy died later..

More rain today, in sunny skies, very strange,, but he skies are darkening now,, still at 100% humidity..
A nice day at work, worked a little over..
had a nice veggie and chicken wrap for my lunch,, lots of nice cold, filtered water, and up and down the basement stairs doing laundry.
We are going to start our new list for vacation in August.. 59 days until then..
I do have a quick rant,, any opinions are welcome,,
A coworker is very upset that her son's best friend who was home on leave before deployment, was killed after a car accident last week. The man was 20 years old, drove drunk with THREE passengers, two that were SOBER!He blew a (are you sitting down?) 3.5 on the breathalyszer THE NEXT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In the state of Michigan, 0.08 is illegally drunk. that reading is about equal to blowing into a 150 proof tequila bottle!!!!!!!!!!
These are adults, no teens and this guy actually was deemed smart enough to brandish a weapon for our Armed Forces!!
I have zero tolerance for humans who are so selfish that they choose to aim a one-ton weapon at others with no control...
I am sorry for his family, but I will always stick my my mantra:STUPIDITY KILLS! Not always the stupid one, either!! His wife and the two others in the car are in various hospitals across our state for special life saving techniques and surgeries, ,,
TWO sober people actually got in this car with him already at the wheel!!!!!!!!!!
AM I a ditzy paranoid old fogey, or is this now right?????? To top the whole thing off, none of them had any insurance or jobs, so guess who foots this bill? We have no-fault insurance in MI, so up go my rates,, with 42 years with no accidents. Another item just for giggles is: His wife is angry because somebody else didn't TAKE HIS KEYS AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SHE GOT IN THE CAR NEXT TO HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! S*O*B*E*R*!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know I am neurotic when I realize that this sent my BP up for two days!!!!!!! I never met any of these people but egads, could they scrape up a whole brain between the four of them??????
Okay rant over, feel free to add your fifty dollars worth.. ah, I feel a little less stressed now...

Catching up on my sleep..
Our Great Lakes are filling up this year!! More rain all day today,, making those grasses and plants shoot up!! Farmers are loving this. They plant sugar beets, soy, corn, and winter wheat around here.. all but the latter are processed right here. We have a sugar beet factory about two miles from my home, another one in the Thumb of Michigan, which produces Pioneer sugar, they grow corn and soy for feed, but mostly for fuel, also soy for processing.
If you use biofuel or corncob stoves , you are using their products.
Where I live is where Madonna was born,(her grandma was Madonna too) my mom was friends with her Grandma. Our city is the one Madonna called"A smelly little town", to the world..
She embarrassed her family for that, as she was raised the first few years of her life, in a little wooden house REALLY CLOSE to that sugar beet factory she says is smelly, the family was not homeless, but not rich either. Her parents moved to Detroit when she was young, now she never makes remarks about the big "D"! Maybe because Detroit is a bigger city, more possible ticket buyers for her..
I guess I kind of rambled there, but it upsets me when people make fun of those who provide their goods and services. She should be proud that she came from a place with hard-working farmers who are the biggest gamblers on the planet. I am thinking she still is not, or she would apologize to the thousands of people she insulted that day with her rude remark.
Okay, where that stuff came form, I do not know, but it is what it is...
I try not to pull a "Madonna" and make a thoughtless remark that could hurt another person..

Well, ask and you shall receive..
I lay down for a nap yesterday,, nothing,, I have never been able to sleep during the day unless I am sick or under anesthesia. After an hour and a half of tossing and turning,I got up and dragged around,, after dinner I finally sat in my recliner, told DD to wake e up at ten pm to watch Dead Files,, the only program I care about on Friday.
I stil did not fall asleep until nine, she woke me at ten, she went to bed, I passed out until four am.. my usual rising time.. in the chair..
went to bed, tossed and turned for an hour and slept for an hour, finally got up..
today is clean around the house and yard day, so I will be ready to hit the sheets at the right time..
