Today is dark, so dark, it actually NEVER got light out. rain, humidity.
I am thanking God today for helping my health yesterday.
I woke up with grossly edematous feet and ankles. I could not put a stocking or shoe on them, so spent the whole day in recliner with feet elevated, I doubled up on my Lasix, prayed I would not have to call the doctor. He changes a med, doubled another, switched times on three of them. He also told me I only have to take my BP and BS once a week until i see him again in three months.

One of the side effects of two of the meds is edema. For this to just all of a sudden blow up, is strange. I marked it on my BS page to show him later.

I agree with all the other posts who said you should let the doctor know right away! He might be able to do something to help or at least tell you If that reaction is normal.
Sorry you are having problems. emoticon emoticon

    Really sorry to hear.

I would let the doctor know if it would help to do so.

Oh yea, definitely sounds like a reaction to the new med. Anything that quick, out of nowhere, hope you let the Doc know right away.

Have a great day. I'm sure this stuff'll all get worked out, the sooner the better. emoticon emoticon

If this continues, sounds like more changes are needed. Good luck.

Thank God it's the weekend!!!!!!

I was wrong about no rain yesterday,, Karen you were right!! We got rain so hard I thought it might shatter my fifty year shingles!! It was bright and sunny in the front yard, we walked into the kitchen and DD saw rain ten feet from the house, but nothing ON the house for about ten minutes.. It poured rain everywhere but on the house for ten minutes, then ON the house and nowhere else!! raining again today.. supposed to tomorrow..

The humidity is still 100%. We ran our errands to ALdi's and stocked up on produce and got some nice ground sirloin for various recipes later.

I definitely will be making my Up-yer-butt chicken soon! I finally found the appliance for either oven or grill to make it. DD said I sold it in the last garage sale, but, unlike my pepper shaker, I KNEW it was somewhere in m small appliances and baking supplies.
It is basically like the middle part of a bundt pan.

Odd how rain does that. We have had rain in the front yard, but not the back yard. We don't have the same humidity though.

Roast a chicken I have one of those things. They are great to roast a chicken.

I am told not to do any exercise or bend forward for a week. I go back next Friday. I can not focus but It feels ok. We shall see. I feel much better than yesterday that's for sure.
I had a clear lens put in but everything was double so I have my old lens back in now.
I feel certain it is just taking time to focus. I have had a lazy eye all my life why should it buck up now. HUGS Pat

I'm sorry , I am such a geek sometimes watching the weather channel - more is on the way as last night we had horrific storms and today is questionable . Oh that chicken despite the name sounds delish - what time is dinner ? Glad you found your utensils emoticon Hugs Karen

Mostly good nesa LINDA, there has been a lot of stress for you to deal with so not too surprising it is up there.
I do believe that my BP is better if I remember to Breathe deeply. I was told that along time ago and it was not until reading it again on Spark did I do anything about it. Hugs Your rice bag is in the mail. It is the first one so do please let me know it arrives safe. Then I will send one the same way for DD, HUGS Pat
