I am up pre-dawnn to get luggage and emergency things packed, take out trash, etc. Organizing my meds, taking things out of car that I was going to take to mom.. THe snow here is supposed to begin tonight, BUT down in the southern part of the state it will be rain, then freezing rain both ways.
Waiting for DD to wake up so I can help her get dressed. Lots of blankets, snacks, pillows and anything overnight is getting packed.
I went to mapquest last night and printed out directions to office, will be glad when today is finished.. This is just a consultation..

Oh you poor ladies,What a day lies ahead of you.

LINDA, just maybe if you tell them your distance away and how much discomfort DD is enduring and for how long it has been going on.
Hopefully you might get some blood tests done today. Have you got any records or notes to take.
It is going to be a long day for both of you. I am pleased you are taking overnight clothes just in case weather is too severe.
Be safe hope you will get answers very soon. Much Love to both of you Pat in Maine. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Took DD to E.R. this afternoon when I returned from work. VERY good nurse and intern there were horrified that nothing further has been done over the years for this disease for DD. They took it upon themselves to call U of M Medical School in Ann Arbor, to see if we could take her down there and let interns learn and test her. Anything to regulate this thing. SH now cannot see, barely open her mouth, barely walks, skin looks like lizards...
We were in and out, I talked to staff where she will be seen,, I called in for work to tell them I wil not be there tomorrow.. We will leave extra early due to the projected six inches of snow predicted.
Please pray hard for her and the staff that will see her. I am getting close to wondering if she will ever get the right treatment..
We have a long drive to southern MIchigan and back tomorrow. I have never been there, so this will be an adventure..
If ever we needed prayerful intervention, this is it.

Take care and I hope DD will be well evaluated, it seems it is long overdue for her to be tested and hopefully come up with a successful treatment.
I hope they will keep you well informed as to what they will do. Ask them to write notes about your visit and send them to your DD so she has better records for what has been done.

My heart and love are with you both. HUGS Pat in.Maine. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Will be praying. I'm glad to hear that she's finally going to get some good care. If weather gets too bad, it may be a good idea to consider sleeping over.

Drive gently.

    LINDA.

Sorry you are not able to sleep well. I had that problem till I started Spark and watched a lot less TV.
Once the boys left home, DH and I rarely watch TV. I do Spark for long times in the day.

I just like to chat to nice people like you. Take care HUGS Pat in Mainre. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

To Debbieanne: 2,548,800minutes PLUS until my actual retirement year. But who's counting?

Related to that,, my day today: Very bad blizzard this morning when I left for work, but left early and came home, picked DD up for my hair appointment, she waited and when I finished, we then went to SS office to check out to get her a new card(misplaced hers) and also my retirement amounts and requirements. I have been tracking my earnings and credits for the past ten years to determine what my monthly income would be sans job. I finally found out what ex hubby makes, thought I figured out what my amount would be. We went to SS office and two ladies there were very patient and full of info for both of us.
Turns out if your ex spouse made more $$ than you, they take the first dollar of your earned $$ and the rest of your SS income comes from the spouse with greater income . Since my income has dropped significantly in Obamaland, his amount will probably end up being about five times mine. Before that, there was only a $17 difference!!

Our first blizzard dumped four or five inches of snow in about four hours,, now we are awaiting the freezing rain later,, then tomorrow another few inches of snow over the snow and ice. We are so glad that we did not cancel going to either place!!
I did get my cardio in for the day in between sitting in the SS office and the hair chair,, but will try to get some more time in on Nicole's fly workout on the S ball later.

We had a nice day today. I got a call to walk and go to movies I walked and my friends DH did not want to walk to we went to the movies and got tickets and they followed. Then we went out to dinner so this day made itself pleasant all round. Good friends and walk and a good movie and dinner. All I thought I would do was spark and get dinner. DH did the washing up so I am finally sparking. emoticon emoticon emoticon

LOL @ your minutes until retirement.

So what's your thoughts on an early retirement? You will ahve less stress but work more. Knowing you you will stay busy busy busy and less rest than you have now.
