We went to the Habitat home dedication last evening. She had the highest turnout of all of the four homes they dedicated this year!!

Everybody loved our welcome mat,, I did not know ahead of time, BUT the floral pattern on the mat matched the flowers right next to her porch!!
One thing I did notice is how much I appreciate my savings plan to purchase central a/c a few years ago!! Her home was sweltering!! They had every door and window opened, all of the ceiling fans going full blast and box fans everywhere!! It was horrible,,
I am very glad it was not tonight: I would not have attended,, I almost fainted last night, the temp and humidity is about ten degrees higher now!!

Tomorrow is our Spark meet up with Joysgarden, summerlovn, steve06,lecates, tweetykc and I.. it is supposed to be 90 degrees tomorrow,, I am sure the humidity would steam clams,,
I will be ducking into every place that has a/c,,
Poor Joy, every day I update her on the weather channel online,, it gets hotter each day when I look at the forecast,, I started out telling her to pack some warm weather clothes, next day I told her capri's and cool shirts; day after that it was shorts, sleeveless tops, swimsuit,, yesterday it was sunscreen sunglasses, cooler full of ice. I am kind of scared to look at it today,, the only thing left to tell her is a hat, sandals, thongs and see-through anything!!!!
We Do have a nudist camp here in Michigan, I could steer them to that, it is on the western side of the state though.. nearer lake Michigan. but you never know!! Poor lady will never want to see this place again!!

I am very tired today, worked very hard at work, got lots of cardio in today,, tonight is the grand opening of the Habitat home for a friend.. I bought her a huge WELCOME mat for the front porch. She has a deck on the second story behind the kitchen, but no stairs to get up or down, so this will fit nicely on her front porch. We could hardly lift it into my trunk.. Needless to say, I am not wrapping it,,,

Way to go PICKIE, I think that is a great idea a huge welcome mat. I had a new door put in a while ago and we had the sill dropped. Now my wonderful COCO Mat no longer fits under the door. Today after work we did run errands to C.U, dealership car wash, then on to shopping for a friend's housewarming gift for Thursday. She is moving into a Habitat home,, been waiting for two years,, they had bad management, fired the bad ones and finally finished her home.
Unlike years ago, now they are buying repossessed homes, gutting them, and saving a LOT of money on foundations, walls,etc..

We did find her a nice gift,, hope she likes it..
Sat with the neighbor by her pool and chatted for along time, now I am behind on the things I wanted to accomplish today,, oh well, we very seldom get to talk, so I am glad we did,, DD and I rushed home to get moving on things we needed to do...

I seem to be drinking more water lately, probably because of the heat.. you would think the almost saturation-point humidity would make me less inclined to drink water, but no..
enjoying having the windows open so I can watch and listen to the birds talk and sing to each other..

Oh, Momma Bear, i sent a sparkmail to you, I guess it did not go through.. basically, for you and Pat, 7 Keto DHEA is for metabolism. Dr.Oz featured it on his show a few months back as the best source of a supplement to boost your metabolism. It is pricey,, as I blogged yesterday,,
I am going to go to the Puritans Pride site ina few to order it while there is free shipping($4.97) and 10% off..
I have been shopping from them for years,, I have never waited more than a week, even for huge orders!
Our weather is s so goofy here.. yesterday after I got my hairs cut, ran errands, I came home thinking we would have grilled ground sirloin burgers. We had the a/c off, but windows closed. clotheslines filled with towels, not too humid for hem to dry out there..
after awhile DD opened the patio door to check out the humidity levels..
She said it was much cooler and a big breeze blew up out there, so she opened all the windows, like I did before I left that morning..
Two minutes later, the sky got black, not a puff of air, very dark and looked like tornado weather again.. all I could see was my towels blowing into Lake Huron!! She goes around and closes all of the windows again..
no rain, no air, and very high humidity.. for about an hour,, we finally went out and emptied the clotheslines, fearing a downpour or tornado..

Today is definite thunderstorms,, it is 6 A.M. and not a puff of air,, we did turn the A/C on last night, late, it has not kicked in for hours,,

I will definitely order that 7 keto now,, before I head out to the grocery store.. with my umbrella!!
