A ncie day here; errand running was in a circuit:credit union, dealership car wash, on to fruit market for fresh picked asparagus,, on to salvage grocery store for some deli foods, canned goods, deeply discounted Columbian coffee, pure juices, etc,,

We are hoping to get more yard work finished this weekend,, also pack up more treasures for the garage sale to take to dad's house..

64 days ..

Thank you to the below sparkers who supported me yesterday with their suggestions and comments.. Yes, I am already taking tart cherry capsules for my arthritis and hopefully i twill ease the fibro pain,, taking 7 keto DHEA for metabolism.. Rx pain pills put me to sleep within minutes, as do 200 mg ibuprofin, so unless I am going to be sitting or lying down for the day or night, I must endure the pain,, TM does help when I can relax enough to go deep enough to get away from the agony like the past two days.

today the crucifixion pain has stopped.. now it is just complete body throbbing aches,, you know when you had that virus where your hair hurt?? Every joint, muscle hurt? that is a fibromyalgia patients daily life.. no exaggeration.. I was told I did not need anything but a boyfriend to distract me,, by a medical professional!! I finally went to a neurosurgeon to get my carpal tunnel surgery done,, he suggested I go to a rheumatologist for rheumatoid arthritis.. THAT guy knew within three minutes I was a classic severe case of fibro
You could have knocked me over with a feather when he said those words.. I was all steeled to take the horrifying DX of rheumatoid arthritis!!..

Remember when you went on your first hike or canoe trip or whatever?? The next day you prayed somebody would cut your limbs off or knock you out to get you out of the agony your body was in?? That IS 24/7 for a fibro patient.
Today I worked, hobbling around just praying and knowing that God would let me get through it until I could get home and be off my feet, exercise to stretch some muscles slowly,, take an ibuprofin...
please, if somebody tells you they have this, know that they are enduring, they are trying to figure out what part of their body will end them in a pain throe next. After awhile, you learn to just let the pain be part of you, unless you give up and curl up in a ball and whimper, let this take over your life...
Saying, "I cannot imagine how you must feel,,,, " lets that person know you understand, but at the very least, BELIEVE THEM..

Sorry it is so bad Linda, i have had a number of friends over the years and they wanted me to join their support group. i did some copying and such. My dear friend has CFIDS and Fibro. i met her at an allergy testing clinic. we found we had a lot in common. i have all the triggers but not the referred pain.

I am sorry you are suffering. As you said, there is not too much else to say is there.

I am honored to be your spark friend. HUGS Pat in Maine. emoticon emoticon emoticon

I am sorry you are suffering. Have you had any success with natural remedies? I hope this doesn't sound condescending? I understand people sounding like they understand when they really don't have a clue. My son has arthritis. Sending love your way emoticon

I don't know much about fibro, but I assume it's real, I didn't realize there was some doubt lol.

It sounds horrible though. I hope its not this bad all the time!

66 days to Paradise...

Monday, June 11, 2012

Back to work today for a rest.. We did get the pool liner all cut up, rolled into huge bundles and Kristy hauled them out to the street for trash pickup tomorrow. They are wet, heavy with sand from the deep end,,, I am sure glad I have my Rubbermaid yard buggy to haul these things!! We spent two solid hours in 90 degree heat, 98% humidity, getting this done,, I could not move anymore so we did not flip the pool cover and dump it in the deep end.. that is for tomorrow.. We did get all of the bricks out of the deep end and loaded them into the buggy, I hosed them all off of scum, slime, nightcrawlers, snails, etc,, wet composty leaves..
stacked them on the deck until after I get the dump truck through the yard and get the hole filled in..
That water smells exactly like a cow died, putrified in its' own manure for about twenty years. I have mucked more stalls than I care to count, know of what I speak...
We did get a lot fo toxins out through sweat during that time though.. it kind of felt good to do that.. we did have to re-hydrate later,,, felt dizzy..
we were good later,, I was so hungry,, but Kristy grilled mock steaks for her, grilled those sheepshead from Texas, with dill weed, lemon pepper and non-transfat oleo..
I never had sheepshead fish before, but Dan and Patsy, friends, brought it back from their winter there two years ago.. it tastes like whitefish!! I was stunned!!
I cannot abide the smell or taste of any seafood.. these were caught off Mustang Island, (Galveston), TX.

Kristy has been gradually leaving salt off her foods.. she used to put the shaker right near her plate and season foods before tasting, like her dad.. now she leaves teh shaker in teh cabinet!! I am so happy..

Today it is humid (95%), 80 degrees, the air is thick and sticky,, supposed to get thunderstorms.. indoors cleaning today..

I do believe that my investment of super-insulating my full attic, is paying off..yesterday in the 90 degree heat, our home was 72 degrees BEFORE the A/C was turned on..It only kicked on three times the whole day, so we turned it off last night,, today too,, a cool 72 degrees in here today!!
This is a good day, not a lot of fibro pain...

When I return home from shopping this morning, I am going out and work on the pool liner again,,Supposed to be 90 degrees, so I will purge some toxins out there!! I am SO blessed to have gotten A/C a few years ago, now that the pool is gone.
Once inside alter, I have laundry, cleaning, bill paying to do, so it is never dull...

    67 days and counting...
Hope you were able to enjoy your AC today and get all those little tasks completed. What all is left to do on the pool liner? Is the water all off it or has it just rained more? Hope you take it easy out there in the heat.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
