Good news

Wednesday, January 30, 2013

I went to Zumba class this morning. I usually go on Monday and Wednesday mornings. They announced this morning that they will be having a third class on Thursday evenings at 5:30. This class will also be 15 minutes longer. Zumba is my favorite excercise and I may be able to make some new friends in the new class. Hooray!

Good for you! I think Zumba would be a blast! I love to dance, but these darn knees can't take it anymore! But, who knows once I lose all the excess fat, which puts 4 times more pressure on your knees than normal-I will be able to! I am happy for you!!! emoticon emoticon

I reached level 15 today.

Monday, January 21, 2013

I try to log in everyday and try to get at least 100 Spark Points each day. I have been on sparks since last April, so to have over 30,000 points in less than 10 months, I feel is a worthy accomplishment. I am so happy I have been introduced to Spark People and I love all of my new Spark buddies. emoticon emoticon

Well done. I have been on for 5 years and still haven't
reached 80,000. I had stopped for a while and now I am
trying for 100 points as well. I go back to work tomorrow,
so I hope I can still manage to visit my Spark friends.
Thanks for always visiting and commenting on my blogs.

We love you too! It's called Spark PEOPLE for a reason! The people really make this site great! I am not aware of how many spark points I rack up every day. I probably spend too much time goofing on Spark, but it's a big part of my life these days.

Creating Spark Points was a Stroke of Evil Genius, in my opinion. Try explaining Spark Points or Spark Goodies to a Non-Sparker, LOL!! They are Crazy Addictive!!

emoticon I just wish I had realized sooner how "Important" it is to Log In and Spin The Wheel every day. As it is my Log In Streak is 1,187 Days.

Points do add up! I often don't bother clicking to get points after reading something; it's always a surprise to me that the number does goes up. And... ok; it's weird but true... I try to reset all articles every few months to fool myself into reading with more care. Ah, yes: mind games! lol

A dedication to a very special lady.

Saturday, January 19, 2013

Today my MIL would have turned 100 if she had not passed almost 3 years ago from a fall. What I would say to her today if she were still here is this. I am proud of the woman that you are. I am special to you and you let me know it. There is such a thing as eating chocolate in moderation as you prove by taking one or 2 bites of your favorite food each day and then putting it away. That always improving your mind gives you mental strength that can sustain you for life. And most of all that you can be in the middle of a crowd and still be alone. I love you Ione and will miss you until I join you again in heaven. God Bless You and Happy Birthday.

Great to have had a super relationship with your MIL. I married my husband in the same year that his father passed away, and his mother passed away about 4 years later. I never really got to get close to them. It's too bad too, because my DH was very close to them.

TGIF

Friday, January 11, 2013

You may think it's crazy for a retired person to look forward to the weekend, but I really do. I have my energy filled 6 year old grandson that stays with me while his parents work. He wants to be active all day and has outgrown naps. He is in AM kindergarten and that is when I get things done. So when he gets picked up after work on Friday, I am ready for the break. So TGIF! Wishing everyone a restful weekend.
