Smart Desserts

I go crazy not able to have desserts like DQ blizzards. Today, I found a smart ones have a dessert section. This is good and bad. At least I know, that once in a while I can have a dessert that isn't applesauce and flaxseed's or raisins.

My feeling today is to give up. I have yet to exercise even though today is my rest day but I never got to exercise yesterday so I had hoped to do it today. All I've done is rest and sleep and watch TV. I wish I had a treadmill or something like that because maybe then I could watch TV and walk the treadmill at the same time. I'm eating fine watching that but it's the exercise that is not something I'm in the mood too. I've done really well up until this week. but with my weight not budging much I don't feel efforts are worth it. This is feelings my mind knows better.

    @STAR_71 Do any 3 10 minute spark videos on the site. How about that.

@GLublin I did get myself off the couch.. I did 30 minutes of a wii disc and 2 walk it outs on the cardio blast and 10 minutes on my strengthening video.

    I know you area strong women and you can do it.. like you said these are feelings.. and mind knows better.. I know tomorrow you will go out there and enjoy the sunshine and take a walk.. even tough you are not exercising but you are eating right.. ... dont be too hard on yourself.. its a journey and you will succeed in the end.

    Hang in there! My week has been the same, I have not hit the gym much, yesterday I didn't even log into spark people. You can do this!!! Keep your chin up, things will get better!! emoticon emoticon

  Don't give up. Try shaking up your life and diet. Tomorrow go rollerskating, if the weather is right. Fly a kite. Pack a picnic basket and go to a park or eat in your backyard or spread out a blanket in your livingroom. Change your diet, give yourself a treat, just don't go wild. Everyone feels that way at some point. I have been on a plateau what seems like forever. I shook up my diet and exercise routine and started to lose again. I too hate to exercise, I start it before I am awake. By the time I'm good and awake, I'm almost through. Hang in there.

    I get into those moods too I did find if I will go outside and sit in the sunshine for fifteen to twenty minutes then I am all ready to go go go

    Don't give up, I have been 3 weeks at the same weight, but this morning it was down one pound. I know, I have been adjusting internally and my body was catching up. You don't want to give up, the next step is just around the corner. Keep the faith in yourself and keep on moving. You can walk on the spot while you watch TV, just keep moving.

I can't seem to get past 180 it's been like that way for about a month. I just jump back and forth from 178 and 183. ideas?

    I found the blogs. Go to secrets and it will give you a list of subjects. They have one for breaking plateaus. Hope that helps.

    Some where on her I saw blogs that are just about plateaus. Some people up there calorie intake for a day or 2 and then went back to eating in there calorie range. Some jump started there work out. I will try to see where I found the blogs and let you know.

    I change my workout all the time. Every day is different. I alway track what I'm eating I'm loosing inches but not weight. It just gets frustrating Thanks

  Are you tracking what you eat to make sure you are not getting too many calories? Another thing could be that you are doing the same kinds of cardio all the time and you body has adjusted to it. After a while, the body "knows" how to spend as few calories as possible during a workout. Trying a completely different type of cardio might help.

I screwed up

UGH! With everything going on yesterday, I forgot to take my anti-depressant. So today I'm paying for it. I slept until 1pm yikes I have Vertigo, nausea. This hinders my exercises today, I can't eat I feel sick to do so. What makes me mad is my reminder went off on my phone as always, I brought my medication with me and yet I totally forgot to take it.

I want to exercise today, because well my plan didn't go so well yesterday for eating. I totally went way over I ate foods I never should have ate yet I did. I did stay away from the mini donuts but I really really really wanted them.

    Give yourself a break, there will be times when, try as you might, things just get thrown off course...get yourself set with your meds and then move forward...and don't forget to give yourself a hug for passing on the mini donuts.
