I passed the 10 lbs lost today

Saturday is my weigh in. First thing in the morning. I hate weighing myself in the afternoon.

Today the emoticon read 191 A total of 11 lbs since the end of 2011. emoticon

I celebrated with a 30 minute cardio workout at the gym today. emoticon

I did something right in February! I'm proud of the measurments I took this morning

March 1st 2012 measurements

Measure your Waist - 40 Feb -41.5
Measure your Hips - 43 Feb- 43
Measure your Thigh - 27 Feb - 28
Measure your Upper Arm - 12 Feb 12
Measure your Waist to Hip Ratio - .93 Feb - .98
Measure your Body Fat % - 33.2 Feb - 33.9

Honestly I can't believe I was able to see some progress along the lines of measurements. Some stayed the same which I'm ok with and my waist and my thigh I am very proud of those new numbers. I'm ok with all those numbers.

On Tuesday I made a whole bunch of recipes for the week from the sparkpeople cook book I made amazing meals for me to eat and I am going to keep doing that, it seems to be working.

Along with going to the gym I should see even more results at the end of March!!

Progress update!

Since January 1st 2012 I have lost 9 lbs, my size 16 pants are falling down so I have to use a belt. I'm eating better, for the most part, I'm not going back for seconds. I've cut down on pop since Ash Wednesday (not very long yet ) and I'm not really craving any. I am not allowed to have pop until I get 8 cups of water in me first. Which by then I don't want pop but water sounds good by then. I'm getting to gym, I'm sleeping better (thanks to prescription meds) but I only take when I need to sleep and have to get up for work, if I am not working then next day or don't have to get up early for work I don't take them. I didn't even realize it but I had fish 3 x this week (left overs and another completely different meal) Spark recipes too. Which was my meat this week, no red meat. I have a long ways to go but I'm very happy where the progress is leading, and with this weeks results, I have renewed faith that I can do it.

I'm going strong so far this year. I've started going to the gym, and I'm doing what I can to eat better. I once again have a laptop, thanks to my boyfriends brother finding me a power cord for my laptop. I've joined a book club with some friends, to keep me reading, and less time online, or watching TV. It's non active , unless I read at the gym which I'm finding it something I am enjoying. I bring my book and do my cardio on the bike which is easy to read along plus it keeps me focused on something else other than the time or any of the other numbers the screen says.

I'm happy, and I'm being active and this helps. I hope it stays that way and I'm going to do what I can to keep it that way!
