Went to the roller dome again. Made it 12 times maybe 13. Glad I went and didn't back out as I had almost done.

Just writing up this quick update from my phone. Will fix any mistakes tomorrow.

Cabin Fever

Wednesday, March 02, 2011

I'm tired of this winter. It's a regular winter here in Minnesota or is it. Honestly I can't tell. It's cold, it's warm, it's SNOWING! yep more snow is on the way. I can't take it anymore. All I do is go to work, and stay in the apartment. We don't do anything, because when it looks nice out it's too cold to do anything.

Winter needs to END NOW!

You sound very depressed, if it seems like you are snow bounded try and work on a project, make puzzles, do some sewing or knitting. Try anything to keep you focused on the things you CAN control. Hope this helps.

We tried that a few weekends ago. We had a blizzard that day too.

Throw a beach party and invite your friends over! Have hamburgers and hotdogs with some healthy snacks. Bring out the beach wear, beach balls, etc. Get creative! I'm sure your friends and neighbors are tired of the snow as well. Have some fun!!!

I'm talking about that pound I lost. I keep losing these pounds. I'm fine with that. I also hope they don't return.

Doing something nice for yourself.

Monday, January 31, 2011

Yesterday, D and I went to Target, because I needed a few items. I was able to get some nail polish, for my nails. It's just a little pampering and much needed pampering. My goal is at least 1x a week to do something little for myself. Even if I don't lose weight that week or not.

Well when you have the mind relaxed and inline with your body, it makes your journey during your weight lose easier. It is wonderful to take that time for yourself. I turn my computer off about 10 pm and go take a shower and lay in bed and read, or mediatate or just something not on the computer, and off by myself. It is a good thing.

So, I started my new job this week. I'm exhausted, basically to the point that exercising after work is next to impossible. Exercising before work is even more impossible. I refuse to work out at 3am in the morning and risk waking up the neighbor downstairs. I work at 5am so yeah just getting out of bed about 4am is hard enough. My body is just getting use to working, and my feet hate me. The shoes I have to wear are not comfortable. I can't seem to win on that, if I wear my orthotics, I pretty much have blisters on the side of my feet. If I don't wear them, I have arch issues by the end of the 8 hours. My feet hurt. They are finally getting use to working, because today they didn't hurt as much as they had the last 3 days. So no exercise the last few days. I have however been wearing my pedometer.

I guess my day's off are the day's I will do exercise, and go from there. I won't have consistency until I get my consistent schedule.

Sore feet are a bummer, not working is a bigger bummer. Keep going it will get easier as your body and feet get used to working again. Have a great 2nd week. emoticon

Congrats on the new job! You will find time to exercise, it is just hard when you are getting into a new routine. And, with the pedometer you will see that you might be getting some miles in:)

Once your body gets used to working and you get used to your schedule, it will be easier to get your exercise in. Do what you can when you can and keep track of your food and you will do fine. Definitely try to get at least 30 minutes of exercise in on your days off. Remember if you can get 30 minutes in 3 times a week you will lose. You can do it i know you can!!
