Yesterday was gorgeous, I thought I would go for a bike ride. As I was bringing my bike out, I had a misstep and fell over my bike. I cut my ankle and ended up not working out but going to Urgent Care instead. I went for a couple of reasons, I was alone, and I couldn't get it cleaned out, and I wasn't sure it needed stitches or not. I've never had stitches so I had a hard time determining it. I've had worse cuts and probably should have had stitches but they were in area's I could keep clean. But since I couldn't get all the grease out of my wound I needed professional help. I wound up having 8 stitches in one of the gashes and they thought 1 or 2 other stitches in another, but after cleaning it out they decided it wasn't necessary. As I said I've never had stitches I usually tend to break bones instead. I need to stay away from over using my leg/ankle/foot until Thursday or Friday, so only upper body strengthening until I can use it better. I've needed pain killers when there are some pressure on it, so no crossing my legs where it hits the ground. Sleeping was fun but I managed. Adventure is always one thing I get when I try and so some fun.

So, while searching for things to do in Plymouth, MN I came across a 4 week challenge that the City of Plymouth is participating in. It started yesterday, so I thought why not and signed up. It's easy it's like here you record your exercise and fitness or steps. Except it's for the City and other Cities in Hennepin County. It's called Step to it. https://www.steptoit.org/StepToItSta
tic/Home.html I figured since, I am doing it for myself, this is just another site to enter stuff in and show that the City of Plymouth has people participating and staying fit. Walking, biking, yoga, cleaning the house, gardening all that can be used to count. So, if you are interested sign up, it only started yesterday!

I follow her on twitter, and one of her challenges for the week is NOT to say anything negative about yourself this week. Examples would be, I look fat, or I feel ugly. You get the point, when it comes to things one can say that is negative about oneself. So, I'm taking her challenge for the week, and I invite you too join it on here.
Weekly challenge: for the entire week say NOTHING negative about yourself. If you start to stop yourself and then say something positive about yourself.

After a week of gloomy rainy week this weekend showed how wonderful a weekend can be. Perfect temps, and the sun came out. I went for a walk last night which felt great minus the many allergens out there right now that I'm allergic to. I had to deal with a very very watery eye, itchy skin, stuffed up nose, and a little shortness of breath. I had taken all my allergy medications yesterday afternoon. But after a week of rain, everyone was out mowing their lawn, and lilacs are in still in bloom even though I have seen some bushes dying out.
I saw other types of wildflowers all of which I don't think I'm allergic to. The lake was nice, there weren't a lot of boats near shore so it was just nice to see, the lake. People were BBQing at the park, and the sun was peaking out and there were some clouds but that was ok, they weren't rain clouds. After our walk, Derek and I went and tried this Thai restaurant, near by. Saturday was a wonderful day all in all. I hope that this week is as nice.

So, my weigh in this week was what I expected, but not as bad as I thought it was going to be. In fact I'm a bit encouraged that it wasn't much of a set back, and the set back would have been my fault completely. So I didn't ruin anything and I just need to do what I need to do today and the following days.
