What a beautiful weekend

Sunday, May 16, 2010

After a week of gloomy rainy week this weekend showed how wonderful a weekend can be. Perfect temps, and the sun came out. I went for a walk last night which felt great minus the many allergens out there right now that I'm allergic to. I had to deal with a very very watery eye, itchy skin, stuffed up nose, and a little shortness of breath. I had taken all my allergy medications yesterday afternoon. But after a week of rain, everyone was out mowing their lawn, and lilacs are in still in bloom even though I have seen some bushes dying out.

I saw other types of wildflowers all of which I don't think I'm allergic to. The lake was nice, there weren't a lot of boats near shore so it was just nice to see, the lake. People were BBQing at the park, and the sun was peaking out and there were some clouds but that was ok, they weren't rain clouds. After our walk, Derek and I went and tried this Thai restaurant, near by. Saturday was a wonderful day all in all. I hope that this week is as nice.

It was gorgeous today. I went to my parents and they had a small camp fire, my niece was there for a while, my brother fixed my door and we went for a walk with the pups. It was a nice day with family.

Sounds like a great day, hope today was as nice. We have had a beautiful weekend here in Ottawa Ontario as well. I just love this time of the year. Despite the allergies, the weather is perfect for walking, not too hot, so you just have to go. Have a great day.

You gain some you lose some.

So, my weigh in this week was what I expected, but not as bad as I thought it was going to be. In fact I'm a bit encouraged that it wasn't much of a set back, and the set back would have been my fault completely. So I didn't ruin anything and I just need to do what I need to do today and the following days.

Take each day, one at a time. Focus on what needs to be done each day. You can do it, just believe in yourself.

Glad to hear that you are not bummed out over it. I have been working on my weightloss goal and achieved once. Then when I became injured I had to start over. You'll see your goal weight and fitness level sooner than you think.

Job

Friday, May 14, 2010

So, I had the job interview for the job I already pretty much have. Tuesday I have another interview with T-mobile. The PCA job pays pretty low for me but what can I do. The problem is making it meet with that amount of $$ so having a 2nd job will be helpful. Who needs a life right.
I just hope things and the weightloss can work together.

It will work out. There are times in a persons life when they have to work hard in order to get ahead of the game. The good thing is that the 2 jobs are different from each other so getting bored might not be a problem. emoticon

Eeyore

Thursday, May 13, 2010

I feel like Eeyore. This gloomy weather, is taking a toll on me. If I had a good storm it at least could be exciting, but it misses me and is always somewhere else. So, we gray skies, blustery wind at times, cold temps, and just plan old rain. I still need to exercise, yet I have to motivation to do so. Maybe tonight I will get to it, one can hope I just need nothing to distract me, or keep me from exercising. I'm missing my tail (exercising) and I need to find it and have it pinned back on (motivation)

Eeyore is my favorite as well. I love how he keeps going no matter how blue he feels. He just reminds me to keep going no matter how down I feel. If Eeyore can so can you. Pick yourself up and get going. Take that little gray cloud with you and find your motivation. Get going girl!

I'm sorry you are feeling so blue - but if it makes you feel any better, Eeyore is my absolute favorite character so I still like you a lot! It is such a bummer when the weather doesn't cooperate when we want to actually do stuff. I hope the skies clear up and get sunny for you and you are able to get back out there and find your tail!

What is wrong with me.

Wednesday, May 12, 2010

I have so much stuff going on, and stress that I have yet to sleep a good night sleep. Not to mention this weather isn't helping. I made an exchange of stress to one that I can live with. I had to borrow money from my parents once again to cover bills. At least I have a job that is just pending the background check and everything else that it requires. So that is one piece of stress gone, because I have no problem with the whole background check. I shredded about 10 previous ones last night. I have nothing that would make me not pass one on me. I've worked in this field so long that background checks are just one piece of paper work that is no big deal if you don't do anything that is against the law that could ruin your chance with a job.

It's officially Wednesday and I have yet to exercise this week. Yesterday after I was done with meeting the child of my new client I was in need of food so I found myself going through the Golden Arches of McDonalds. Which helped my hunger and shaking of need of food. I used change I had found through out the cleaning and got just the minimum of food that would get me through the drive home in stop and go traffic and help my blood sugar level out.

I've now took the time last night to organize my files and figure out what could get destroyed and what I had to keep and file. My next goal is to get the debt worksheet and get payments out again with my debt. I have a deferment on student loans currently and I'd like to get those paid down asap.

What would be nice is to get a Fulltime job that has benefits so that I won't be paying for health insurance out of my pocket, since it's expensive and doesn't seem to be getting lower.

Hang in there. I am glad that your parents are willing to help. I would help my kids too. Your new job will start soon and things will be looking up for you. And now there is a ya but, you need to exercise....it will help with the stress and the sleep. Work hard on starting to move and do something....and the rest will come.

Stay positive, I am thinking of you, and wishing you the best.

You seem to have a positive attitude that things are going to work out and be thankful and grateful for parents who believe in you best wishes as you seek that full time job and get things organized just take one day at a time that is all anyone especially God ask you to do
