Oops, here I am again.

Thursday, January 29, 2009

Ok back one more time, didn't realize it's been a whole year, but I've opened a restaurant and sold my partnership and lived through it all. And only a few pounds heavier. Does anybody else struggle with having to start over again and again?

I've started to do videos everyday though, whether it is Bob or Jillian or both. My first running goal is an 8k in April. I didn't get to run in too many races last yr. but am hoping to race in quite a few this year.

Other goals, trying to put my family first, while taking care of myself in a healthy but not obsessive way. Am trying not to stare at the scales but have been working out hard for the past 2 weeks and actually have gained 5 lbs. I am hoping it is just my body converting, so I am sticking with it and will look forward to a big loss soon, maybe in a few weeks I'll have a big 10lb. loss :)

Try to listen first and talk later. :) I'm going to try to journal or blog every day too. Not sure if anyone else o

Trying again

Friday, September 08, 2006

After a little bit of time away, I'm giving it another try. It's been really tough getting back into it. I am not a sit at the computer kind of gal, so this has been tough making this a habit.

Today, I ate really well, but didn't get to exercise. I just want button my pants, is that so wrong!! UGH Am I the only one out there?

Thanks so much to Sparkpeople.com for offering this amazing website. I LOVE IT! There are thousands out there too - keep up the good work.

I'm a 37 year old mother of three, I love cooking and nutrition. I'm a personal chef and caterer so being around food is inevitable. Although fascinated by nutrition I don't always make the best choices. Your site and message boards are AWESOME! Thanks again for doing this for all of us - it's such a blessing.
