What an off week. I have to say it seems like I'm going to put this week to bed and call a do-over next week. I'm trying not to feel too guilty about this, but I just have not felt well enough this week to push the Extremeness of P90X.
I did my Plyo on Sunday. Monday I took off. Tuesday was Yoga day, however; I just did not have 90 minutes of Yoga in me. I just knew it. I DID do 40 continuous minutes in the pool, so it certainly wasn't a loss.
Today, again, I just did not have the energy for any kind of strength training, but I did play 45 hard minutes of racquetball...so again, not a loss.
Tomorrow is Kenpo X and I won't put that off because my husband gave me an early birthday present today! A fancy new Heart Rate Monitor! I'm excited to see just how hard I'm bringing it!
Friday we are off for the weekend for a last hurrah before school starts. I think we'll end up doing some nice hiking...so I'll get some workout in, just not my P90X.
Kind of disappointed I got off track, but I have to listen to my body, and my body said "take a break".
Next week I'll do Week 11 over and push out my "90" days a week. After all, this is a long term effort.
