WDo you exercise more or less on weekends?

I try to do the same every day. I save a day off from exercise when #1 my body says it needs a rest or #2 it is raining/bad weather. Or #3 other obligations take up to much time.

Started Ww and exercising in Feb., joined onto Sparkpeople in June. Lost 17 pounds since June.
In 6 months I lost 55 pounds.
Went from size 2x stretch pants to size 8 or 10 jeans.
Waist went from 46 inches to 29 inches.

20 - 25 pounds more to go. Then it is Maintenanceville for me.

Routes?

When jogging, walking or biking do you like to vary the routes to keep it fresh and creative or like to do the same routs?
Do you measure the distance of the route?
I like to vary the route. But i also have a few favorite same old routes, I know the distance is, and try to get a better time on them.

    I tend to stick to the same ones, since they are in a local park, and I know the distances. I prefer to walk on ped/bike paths to avoid cars.

    There are advantages to both, but I like that you can track your improvement when you use the same routes...

    I do both. I have routes that I love and then I have days where I like to venture out into new areas. I have an app on my phone that tracks the distance, speed, altitude, time and heart rate (if you have the correct monitor) of a number of different activities.

    Since we just moved to this area last Fall and I haven't really explored the neighborhood due to the hills, I am varying my route to check out all the little side roads....I track them here in the fitness tracker using the map my run feature.
