I have been away from the site for 136 days, and have decided that I need to get back on and get moving. I am hoping that someone will read this, relate and give me a connection....I really want to get back to where I was last time I logged on, but I am nervous about that, and not feeling great about stopping before......sigh

  People says you tell me nothing until you walked in my shoes. I have walked in your shoes. I know that it hurts and you feel like you want to beat yourself. That is not the answer. We must remember that we are making a life style change and we are not on a DIET. In making life style changes we have to make changes and small changes are just important as the big ones, the small changes make big pay off. Just remember to keep your head up and make small changes. welcome back I will be looking for future progess.

    Oh Honey. The point is that you are here. Do not beat yourself up. Baby steps. Could I recommend reading Debbie Ford's book "The Right Questions". It is a book about life and how we self sabotage our greatest intentions. I am glad you came back. HUGS!

Can't get jogging.....

Three to four miles a day of walking. I can't run or jog. I lose my breath and then can't move. I hope that the walking will be enough. I missed one day as I did not feel well, but managed six out of seven days. There is a huge amount of self sabotage and I am not sure why when I feel sooooo good when I get moving and follow my diet that I then stop. Even stopping for a couple of days. Ouch. I keep looking at my body and feeling around for muscles everywhere and worrying about it. I need to just do the strength training and get my body moving. I know that I need to log on each day and keep present in the journey. I guess as my first three months were really great and I haven't done as well since then that I know I am lagging - motivation wise. Not a huge problem, just a reminder that each day I commit to this is one more day of being healthier.

    I was just the opposite of you. I didnt get anywhere my first 6 months! Talk about frustrating. Im finally getting it together and starting to have success. Anyday on spark is not wasted. We are always learning. Spark on my friend!
