Tuesday's Weigh in Day

I kind of like that Tuesday is weigh in day because in case you are out on the week end when you can't control your food as well (like being invited out to eat at someones house) this gives you an extra day.
I have started walking more and more and even though it isn't counted as cardio I am moving a lot more than I ever did.
I am enjoying doing the biceps and triceps too.

That is great that you are moving a lot more. I also walk a lot but I don't add it in because I have to walk a bit slower since my kids can't power walk with me. However we get some miles on us. I am really happy we are team mates. Keep up the great work and have a great day!

Sundays are Different

I always thought that Sundays were too quiet. After Church you come home, eat your rolls and read the paper. The day goes slowly by.
We stopped getting the Sunday paper today because it got so bad. Just snippets of stories.
The day was also different because we went to my husbands concert. He plays trumpet in a community band.
It made the day go by faster.

    As I grow older I am learning to enjoy that one day when all is quiet and slow. My week just flies on by it is all a blur sometimes. I have stopped reading the newspapers and watching the news because it is just too depressing.

    I like quiet Sundays. We still get the paper, but we use it for litter for my rabbit Fiorella. That's pretty much all it's good for! But it's still a day to relax and spend with my husband and rabbit and just hang out together and go nowhere and account to no-one. I do miss the Sunday pastries emoticon

A Trouble Spot

I think that one of the things that I have trouble with is when I am doing cardio no one ever mentioned how slow or fast you are supposed to count your ten seconds but I think that I am counting much too fast.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

  


Tracking Sodium

Our team is tracking our sodium input today and it is really amazing to me the amount of sodium in the food we eat.
I am using my food tracker everyday and I put down everything that I eat or drink.
Today I started adding coffee because I was just putting the milk down.
I also was amazed when I started adding the fish oil that I take twice a day. I never really counted it in my fats and it has ten calories.
The things I am learning by keeping track.

Well, it takes a long time to write down every thing you eat but already I see that it keeps me from tasting while I am cooking.
Who wants to write down that you tasted everything. When I am not tracking it I don't seem to realize what I am doing.
