March was a good month for me losing weight. I lost 3.6 pounds which dosen't sound like much but for me it is great. I have been at 169 for about 2 years. I would go up to 172 and come back down to 169. That was the number of my house when I was growing up and I thought I was never going to get any lower.
I now weigh 165.6 and it has been slowly moving down. Someday soon I will be in the 150's. Hope it doesn't take a year.
I am positivethat it will not be that long.

    Being able to take off weight at any age is a plus but it does seem the older we get, the harder it is to lose it. Don't ya wish it was just as hard to gain it as it is to lose it?

    Good for you Peggy. At our age once a month is a good time to weigh and we can say that 3.5# is fantastic. I am like you and have been jumping around the same 2-3#. Not seeing any movement this month. Maybe next!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Well, I got a shot today in my hip for my arthritis. It was feeling a little better but the big test will be tomorrow morning when I get out of bed.
I was just doing some exercises for our BLC challenge and I had to stop because it really made the area where I got the shot ache so I will just stop for tonight and contine tomorrow.

Tomorrow is weigh in and I wish everyone a happy day

March 1st

I have to say since I gave up eating after supper it's hard to get in all of my calories.
I had popcorn after my lunch just because I was craving it and haven't had any all since before Lent began. I think that was enough for awhile.

I am trying to have protein at each meal. I was having a piece of cheese if I couldn't think of any other protein and then I realized that I was having too much cheese.

I think I am rambling tonight because I am thinking about my trip to the Doctors tomorrow to get a shot in my hip for my arthritis. I hope it helps because it is getting more painful. It's okay when I walk but it hurts when I stand still.

    wow hello and hugs. I am doing low carb which means meat,peanut butter and cheese. Avoind anything that looks or tastes good. It is the only thing that is working. I only eat dinner. Drink protein slimfast shake for lunch and water, tea, and sugar free hot chocolate.

New Beginnings

Tomorrow is March 1st. Another new beginning. I love the start of a new month because it seems like the slate is wiped clean -- we can start all over.

The first week of March
1. I will add dancing back to my routine. I will dance to one song each day. This always make me happy and it is a fun thing to do.
2. I will also work on my family tree every day for at least 15 minutes.
3. I will try a new recipe at least once this week.

Ten Days

I am ten days into not eating after supper and it is going along pretty good.
I've only had a couple of nights that I really wanted to have some popcorn. Other nights it just seemed like I should eat something because I wanted it but it is OK to feel hungry.

I think that Iwill eat something right after I finish supper but I don't have any room for it. I am eating more fruits and veggies and they are filling me up.

Pretty soon I will be able to go out in my yard and pull all of the beautiful green weeds. Everything else is frozen and this is the latest that we have had these freezes that I can remember since I move to Florida in 89.
Well, I'll stop my rambling now and go and do some stretches.

I think I am going to try that! Don't know if I can do it. emoticon Might have to make some sugar free popcycles. Then it would be like eating flavored water! emoticon Does that count as eating?!?
