Had my weekly weigh-in this morning and I'm still at my goal weight - WOO HOO! Had a great Pilates class this morning and am planning to do the treadmill shortly to reach my cardio target for the day. Looking forward to some downtime with good friends tonight, and a little euchre as well.

Tired and Drained

Got home late Wednesday night after my father-in-law's funeral. It was a beautiful service but many tears were shed. My husband and I were physically and emotionally drained after the visitations and preparations for the funeral. We were in bed early and I got a good 8 hours of sleep before an early curling game this morning at 9. This was the first exercise I'd had since Sunday and it felt so good! Vegged out the rest of the day before heading off to an early movie with my husband. Hoping for another good night's sleep before my Pilates class on Friday at 9. Friday night is euchre night with my lady friends and I'm hoping for lots of laughs after so many tears this week. Looking forward to sleeping in on Saturday!

Depressing Day

This is my first blog although I've been on SP since July 2011. My father-in-law passed away somewhat suddenly early this morning and the day has been dull and rainy reflecting my mood. He was a very likeable, fair person and my husband and I will really miss him. The next few days will be particularly tough and emotional but my husband is from a very close family and there will be plenty of support.
