Aqua Motion

Wednesday, September 04, 2013

I became a member of a health club in July. Never went made excuses why I did not go. I finally started going today. I went to a Aqua Motion class. I drove up to the place and and went in. I started to turn around and go out the door .I did not want to be the fattest person there. Did not want to be the fattest person in the pool. As I turned to walked out a personal trainer asked me where I was going I said I was going to do the aqua motion class but i was too late. She said no. You just dress in your suit and join in there is no such thing as being late. So that late excuse went out the window. I got dressed and went in . NO I was not the fattest person in the pool. They had 80 year olds telling me take your time. Encouraging me to do what I can . Telling me it is going to get easier each class. They wanted me back. Yah Not only did I burn some calories but I ended up with a dose of self-esteem. On the way out this time I walked with my head up

I love exercising in the pool. You can do more than when you are on land. I hope you keep up with it. Pretty soon you will know some of the exercises and if you are not able to get to class you can do it on your own. emoticon

To all my sparks friends. I have not been feeling motivated lately. But thanks all of you who sent me messages to help me. Reading your positive comments and knowing that I have people who support me in my goal truly helped. Today I found that spark again. Exercised 30 minutes and tracked and wrote in my journal.

I had a very bad setback last week. I almost gave up. I had to get myself on the right track. For four days I did not exercise nor did I completely watch what i was eating. But I made up my mind yesterday. I have control and nothing is bigger than God. God has a different plan for me this just was not the one. After I thought about all the things that came with the thing that ate at me. I knew at the moment. I cannot let it become my breakfast , lunch and dinner and snacks.
I cannot let it eat me. I had to remember I EAT TO LIVE and NOT LIVE TO EAT.
I am alright now. I know my road is going to be rocky at times. But that is no reas on not to travel it to the end of my journey.

Planning leads to success! Watch the sodium content, too, or you'll see an uptick on the scale over the next week, even if the calorie counts were within your ranges.

Have fun and enjoy the company!
