Screw it....

Thursday, January 05, 2012

So instead of going to bed on time tonight... I'm going to FINALLY just sit back and watch a horror film and relax... I haven't sat down and relaxed since Christmas and since the stress at work is slowly killing me on the inside... I might as well enjoy myself. I know I'm going to regret it tomorrow... But what's the point of life if we don't make mistakes, lol...

My first UP band unsurprisingly took a crap... bricked on me after about six days... but yes, you're right, it does help you stay mindful of what you're doing and, thus, helps improve habits. I loved mine, while it worked!

My new replacement band is on its way - I'd love to have a new UP teammate... :)

WHY AM I STILL FAT?!

Wednesday, January 04, 2012

I've been sleeping better, exercising EVERY day, stepping over 25,000 steps a day... Eating healthier... Not snaking at night... And according to my Paranormal-Activity-Like Camera set-up... Ive cut down on sleep eating about 50-60%...

Laser-Lipo is sounding like a great idea... I'm kidding... I'm far too poor for that... It's just IRRITATING and MADDENING. Anyone got any pointers?

I feel your frustration but don't give up, I'm losing less a pound or less a month, but I'm losing inches. I really want to lose weight faster but I can definitely say that I'd rather lose a pound or a few inches than gain back what I've lost so far. So just take each day knowing that your day is coming soon...and that your developing healthy habits.

Hey buddy, other than the step tracking, what other exercises are you doing?

I bet if you went for walks with a camera in tow, you would fit in more exercise and I have a feeling you have a great eye for taking pictures.

I don't know how old you are but, as a woman ages our thyroid and adrenal glands get out of wack.

Either go to a doctor, or go on the internet and start doing some research to figure out what is wrong.

I also have been going through the same experience and have just now figured out my adrenal gland is fatigued and my thyroid needs a slight boost and I shop on line to buy supplements which cover every and I maean everything that we need.

There are literaly hundreds of website didicated to herbs, vitamins and supplement from everything from soup to nuts.

There are also other women who have been going through the same thing.

Just take your time and keep doing all the good healthy stuff because I have gotten to the point that even if I don't lose any more weight at least I feel so much better living and eating a healthy life style.

Just don't ever give up or quit. Do some heavy duty research.

Men also go through harmonal changes almost just like a woman and if you are taking prescription drugs that may be the reason also.

This might be something you've tired already but have you recalculated your calories to see what you actually need when you are walking all those steps and a couple of hours at home? I think maybe you aren't eating enough calories (I do this so it comes to my mind readily)...I'm not sure about the sleep eating, that sounds like a tough one to quit, but with the camera, can you even tell what you've eaten so you can track it?! I know that sounds weird to my fingers who are typing(!) but there has to be something messed up in your eating...And I hate to say this, but you have to relax on the weight...this is a journey, not a sprint friend...that means we all have to exercise our patience...not so easy...it will come together, keep on...

Today was a great day...

Monday, December 26, 2011

At work, I got to work in my old department... Which was amazing. I'm even a day ahead in my work. I had no panic attacks and the nausea was at a minimal.

I didn't feel emotionally and physically drained when my shift ended... So I even got to walk a few miles. Hope everyone had a great Christmas
