After a "not so good" week...

Well the first week went pretty well. I lost 3 pounds and was super motivated! Las week wasn't so good. It started out with stress and drama and then got super busy and quite hectic! So I started this week ready to get back into the swing of things but I was/am quite discouraged! Yesterday I did make it back to working out and today I started tracking my food intake again but still not feeling very motivated. :/ I know once I get back into the swing of things, I'll feel alot better. I could use your prayers. God is good all the time!

  


Tried Something New

Well I didin't make it to Zumba yesterday. I was kinda discouraged because I didn't go. I pushed my self to go this morning. It turned out to be Boot Camp! I tried it. Not so bad. I wasn't sure I'd be able to do any of it. But I tried and I was able to do some of it (not all but I was glad I gave it a try) I don't think I'll go back to the bootcamp part of it until I lose some more weight though. I want to be able to do more of it. At least with the Zumba I'm able to do it all and burn calories the whole hour. I have a baby shower to go to today so I have to be mindful of what I eat there. Okay, well bye for now. Stay encouraged and keep up the good work! :D

Just Getting Started (Trying out this "Blog" thing)

Okay, gonna try this Blog thing. Maybe if I journal my progress I will feel more accountable. Today is my 4th day with Spark People. This past Monday I started a Zumba class. It's something I had been wanting to do for quite a while now but, couldn't find the nerve to do it. I was actually quite pleased, the trainer is pretty motivating, the class has alot of women that are different shapes, sizes and ages. I feel very comfortable. Unfortunately, I didn't go yesterday though :( I was feeling so sore and my cold is getting the best of me. I plan on going this evening though... Anyway, after coming home from my first Zumba session, I remembered about SparkPeople (I had tried it once before but never really got past the first week) I've been entering all of my food intake (yesterday was actually the first day I stayed within by goal numbers, exept fat, I went over 2 points) So I'm just getting the hang of that part. Don't reeally want to post any pics yet, but we'll see. Maybe that will be a good way to ducument my progress too. :/

    You're making some great changes for yourself. Make small goals to accomplish each month and you will get to where you want to be.

    Welcome to Spark People! You are off to a great start!!! I do try to take a picture every month just so I can see how far I have come! It is a great thing to have as you start losing weight!

    emoticon I haven't posted any pics either. But I do take before and afters (just for me to see) and the first time i saw results, i was so excited that it kept me going even stronger. I think it's a great idea.
